Bozak/kadri will probably be up against other teams top centers and in the defensive zone. Nylander in my opinion never looked like a center. He seems like he would flourish more as a winger.

the next LW we have after JVR is fucking Soshnikov. We literally only have rookies at the LW spot. Even if we re-sign Boyes or someone similar, JVR has to occupy the top spot. Bozak is all but gone by this and Nylander played way too well in his stint at Center to be moved to wing.
Yeah Babcock prefers to put rookies on the wings, but Nylander survived his trial by fire and looked very good at a top six center role so going into next year he's probably pencilled in. Bozak will most likely be jettisoned and the Leafs are most likely going to go after a guy like Hamhuis who can sit on the 2nd pairing to help be a solid anchor.
