Wyoming they were kinda stuck with when they branched off the WAC twenty years ago. Hawaii and UNLV were having some decent seasons in recent years; Nevada was added to give UNLV some god-damn motivation.

Replacements for what?
The Sun Belt (as previously pointed out ITT) has voted to kick out Idaho and NMSU after the 2017-18 season. With the addition of Coastal Carolina next year, the SB will be at ten teams (12 in basketball) and has no further plans to expand.
NDSU doesn't really work geographically with anyone, if the MWC expands I'd see them taking some already-FBS teams, they're not low-enough tier to take directly from FCS.
App State already has competition, Georgia Southern has been playing out of their minds.
