Somewhere in the middle. He's not a generational talent or anything but he's really strong and will probably make a great run stopper. He shouldn't be the primary guy on the D-line but if you've got another guy to pair him with he could be great. My favorite comparison is Greg Ellis.
>>
>>67148474

Not a big fan of your mock but I definitely agree about Floyd, there's absolutely no better fit for him than Atlanta. Unfortunately I think people are catching on to the guy and the Falcons might have to trade up if they want him.
>>
>>67148564
idgaf that he's from georgia desu, but he's exactly what the Falcons need at ILB and some Sam

Everyone thinks he's top 12 though
>>
>>67148824
I'd throw Buckner in with those three but yeah, agree 100% about the rest.

With Buckner I think it might take him a little while longer to blossom. When people talk about him being overrated and/or a certain bust they like to point to the Michigan State game when Jack Conklin basically had him on skates all game long. And I agree that Conklin definitely beat him in that game, but there was a lot to like from Buckner in that game all the same. They kept chipping him to the point where he was absolutely gassed in the 4th quarter but he kept battling and maintaining his gaps in the run game. DeForest Buckner might have some issues, but effort and awareness are not among them. Given the right coach, he could be an elite player.
>>
>>67148870
The Falcons aren't trading up though, they have no draft capital. If anything, I think the Falcons trade down and take either Neal, Dodd or Ogbah if Floyd or Lawson aren't there at #17

They could just stay put and draft Neal too. It wouldn't be popular with the pundits but Neal is probably the best fit the Falcons can find for the SS position.
>>
>>67148870
what don't you like about it?
>>67148917
giants or raiders might take him now that i think about it, but he has a decent chance of getting to 17
>>67149030
buckner is going to be amazing if he can go to a team with a great defensive coordinator, the talent and motivation are there
right now i think he's too raw to put up there with ramsey etc., but he's not far off
and tbf conklin is insanely pro-ready, in a year without tunsil he'd be talked about a lot more

I think all Buckner really needs is to learn some pass-rush moves. Every issue he has can be ironed out with coaching.

Also agree about Conklin. I wouldn't be shocked at all if in three years we look back and say he was the best OL from this draft. Tunsil has incredible upside but he's so injury-prone and Stanley is a soft ass nigga.

Can someone give me an unbiased opinion here?

Why has Brady been punished as if he did something of the level it let's say...beat up a gf? Or why haven't other teams/players been punished for things they've done? (HGH fivehead, Queens heating up balls, Jest tampering, Browns texting on sidelines)
I find it hard to believe that Jewdell has a hateboner for 1 (ONE) player, that he's willing to go the distance to make sure he is punished within his power.
Or is it a witchhunt?
Some say it's because they want reasons to have as to why the Pats have been so consistent for so long.
Idk man

Not a Patsfags but also don't hate Brady, used to be a shithead when he was younger, but he's cool now.

>>
>>67149544
The punishment took into account the fact that the Patriots have been caught cheating before, that's why it was so harsh. Goodell is trying to dissuade them from cheating again.

Idk why everyone seems to forget this very crucial fact
>>
Who takes Cardale?
>>
>>67149544
He did something illegal that doesn't really matter and other Qbs have admitted to doing on several occasions. They just banned him cause he just won a Super Bowl and needed some offseason stories so they came up with this shit for headlines and when he kept pursuing court cases the NFL got pissed cause he's an ungrateful faggot who literally had a rule made for him against the raiders for his first super bowl win. So it's like trying to punish the spoiled child in the family.

>NFL Rule 3, Section 22, Article 2, Note 2. When [an offensive] player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body. Also, if the player has tucked the ball into his body and then loses possession, it is a fumble.[8]

This rule was added in 1999, before the Raiders/Pats game.

>This was not the first time the Patriots had seen the tuck rule invoked in the 2001 NFL season.[10] On September 23, Patriots defensive end Anthony Pleasant apparently forced Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde to fumble,[11] but the call was overturned upon review and ruled an incomplete pass. In the aftermath of the Tuck Rule Game, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick told ESPN, "I knew what the ruling should have been because we had dealt with that play a little bit earlier in the year on the other side of it." [12]

Hear me out for a second, why don't teams like the cards, panthers, steelet's who have good rosters trade away their 1st round picks for the #1 overall and select the best player available. >>67150280
>>67150299
Didn't the saints spend a third on a QB last year?
>>
>>67150275
Good teams are built on depth, which is only developed through draft picks. It's why a team Steelers suffered so many injures last season and still were a fumble away from beating the SB champ, while a team like the Ravens went 5-11.
>>
>>67150275
Because soon the good cheap talent you do have wants to be paid, and if you don't have draft picks then you have no replacements for those players because you can't afford to resign everybody.
>>
>>67150275
Thats a desperation move honestly, you are better off keeping strong depth behind your good players by utilizing your draft well.
>>

Why do all you triple niggers have the aints drafting a QB?

Diggs is the next antonio brown. 1000 yards this season desu.

Charles Johnson. He's decent, but got injured during the season. Made one big play that essentially won the vikings the game (away at bears).

Jarius Wright is decent hard working guy and then Adam Thielen is the local loveable white 3rd/4th WR who's a special teams ace.

Cordarrelle Patterson will get traded or not re-signed after this season. Dude is too stupid to run routes and can only do damage with the ball in his hands in meme plays and kickoff returns (he's a top 3 kick off returner). Vikings only run meme WR plays maximum 4 times a year and kickoff returns are dying out so he's out of a job soon. Supposedly he's been learning to run routes this off season, so we'll he how he does.

Gettleman would never draft Jaylon Smith in the 4th but if he ends up without lingering nerve damage we can move him outside and be set with a young core of linebackers for years.

Dodd was available at 30 but I think Panthers draft Ogbah if both available. I'm happy with either pick.

Panthers have worked out the late DT and grabbed the best* punter in the draft

*I want Hackett for shits and giggles but again Gettleman would never draft him

There are a couple of reasons why i think they will go for a WR:

1. They signed 2 decent offensive linemen in free agency (Boone and americanathlete.jpg) meaning they won't have to reach for one in the first round. Also, John Sullivan and Phil Loadholt are back from injury.

2. No good safeties worth taking at 23

3. Houston (22nd pick) needs a fast WR (coleman or fuller) per and not a slow one, as they already have Hopkins.

4. Cinncinati (24th pick) needs a WR and can snatch someone from the Vikings

The ones i think they're looking at is Laquon Treadwell and Josh Doctson.

However, Vikings only have 8 picks in the draft this year and Rick Spielman needs minimum 10 picks, meaning he's always looking to trade down. According to his presser yesterday, two teams have called him about the Vikings pick. If the Vikings can trade down to maybe 26 (seattle) or 29 (arizona), the chance for Treadwell or Doctson to still be around will be very low, and the Vikings probably will look at another position. If they decide to trade out of the first round to maybe Cleveland, they'll probably go for Michael Thomas.

The reason this Treadwell shit drives me nuts is I rarely watch college and the few times I have Treadwell is either dropping the ball or blocking his heart out. I've seen the highlights where he can go up and make a contested catch but overall he just doesn't seem first round to me.

If I'm just fucking high someone tell me but anyway...
