Now La Liga has literally the tightest race, 1 point difference between 3 teams.
Still, I prefer EPL, something about it is just way more exciting, whether it's the atmosphere, or the choke stories or whatever. But we've got exciting teams in La Liga too, like Las Palmas, Sevilla, besides Barca and Madrid
EPL has the benefit of having relatively more balanced race between Shitty, United, Liverpoop, Arseanal, Chelsea and now Tottenham will rise there too, which will make things very interesting. It doesn't matter that they don't really win, they are at least always thought of as contenders and they finish relatively close, almost nobody would ever pick anyone but Barca/Madrid/Atletico to win La Liga.
Also there's rarely any 6-0 trashings there.

La Liga has superior teams at the top (Atletico would walk the PL), is generally better technically and tactically, has historically had a far greater share of the greatest players of all time.
The thing is it just isn't as compelling as the Premier League, and that's reflected in the ridiculous viewership and TV rights deal the Premier League gets which dwarf all the continental leagues. The amount of money that gets pumped into the Premier League anually means there's always a chance it can return to the halcyon days of the mid 2000s if the clubs at the top make sensible decisions, but right now it's La Liga at the top by a mile and isnt even close.

It only got kinda interesting during the last couple of weeks. The only reason to watch a LaLiga game was to see how many goals could TSUUU or MSN score. Everybody knew since the beginning of the season that Barca would get it. Even now, nobody expects Barca to lose another game. In contrast, the EPLel has been a roller coaster of emotions since the beginning of the season.
Leicester have some difficult games ahead. Nobody has won the title yet.
