There were drunken and ticketless fans arriving fairly late, but hat has happened before with no deaths.
Leppings Lane was a poorly designed terrace, but it had hosted many a Semi Final before.
Fences at football was a cancer, but again they had not caused widespread death before
The police did treat football supporters like scum, but never forced people to their deaths.
The gate was opened, but we do not know what casualties there would have been if they did not open them.
So many factors contributed to this tragedy, but if you took each potential cause Individually then none was the dominant cause of death.
