t. casual who hasn't watched either of them fight, Kovalev is good, but GGG is a much more gifted, much better technically, has one of the best chins in boxing at the moment and is a stronger p4p puncher. He literally drags some fights out for more rounds to give people more entertainment even though he can end them sooner.
Kovalev's style relies a lot on athleticism, he will get very bad once he passes 36-37 or so. Golovkin's style ages much much better
But Kovalev is our /sp/ guy, so it's okay.
