Unless Erving was just out of his natural element at G, I don't expect him to stride towards anything but mediocrity and a Bust. I'd rather see them grab the kid from Michigan State or Tuerk from USC. Both guys are solid centers. Erving had horrible technique and it hurt him. Now, the argument about strength can be made, but even Joe Thomas made the statement that footwork and technique are the most important factors, then admitted to being one of the physically weakest linemen in the game.
