It says here you root for a team that's not from your birth city... Care to elaborate?

the MLS is shit
muh dick xD
I hate my home city just like your dumb questions you fuccboi
don't live there since early childhood
I'm a plastic bandwagoning piece of shit and I don't care
The redskins moved to Landover it's not my fault
>>66924942
Your factual data is in error you corporate hack, I am an actual Lifelong.
There is no team in my birth city and i don't live there anyway.
I've been a Patriots fan since Jan 2001, don't tell me I'm a bandwagoner you faggot
>>66925056
Well Nigel, then you aren't allowed to be a sports fan
It's a mistake, I was born in Barcelona.
By the way, I'm not gay but you sure are handsome "wink"
I was born out in the sticks in between Sheffield and Manchester. Family had no interest in football. Total free pick between Manchester United, Manchester City, Sheffield Wednesday, and Sheffield United.
Young minds make rash decisions.

>Equating that to rooting for a sports team
Wow you may be the dumbest mother fucker on /sp/ today

Both are forms of entertainment stay salty. And why don't you support your local music scene you pleb?

I was born 70 miles away and it's the closest team. Am I not allowed tow ant teams in my area to win?
Fuck this job, I don't need your shit
>>66925775
This shit annoys me. You have a perfectly viable team in your neck of the woods, but you withhold the joy of live sports with your son, just because your favorite team isn't in town. I'm lucky that my dad didn't give a shit about any teams and took me to games because he placed bets on them.
>he doesnt have multiple sports team in his city originating from different areas
lol its like you live in africa

8/10 better than london
I was born in Chicago and was a pretty hardcore fan of the teams there. I managed to set aside enough money to go to a game or two every months for 5 straight years or so. When I left that shit hole and moved to Arizona I switched over for the same reason: I wanted to keep going to games. I'm probably never gonna move again, but if I do I will switch teams again. Switching teams so you can go to games and be invested regularly >>>>>> sticking with one team and not being able to enjoy a game unless that city is in town.
>>66926159
arthurs seat is nice fa.m, and cheers :)
never been down london, been to essex tho. been down wolverhampton to see some wolves games since my dad supports them tho

padres/chargers til I die unfortunately
You bandwagons will never know the wonderful feels of having your hometown team make a playoff run. The whole city's caught up in it for weeks. When the chargers made the playoffs a couple years back and beat the bengals it's all anyone would talk about. There were pep rally type events throughout the city, the radio stations couldn't stop talking about them. Everyone you met seemed to be in a good mood. The community came together over our boys in yellow/blue.
You wagon-faggots will never know what being a fan can really be. You may get to celebrate more than real fans, but your celebration is f5ing on /sp/ instead of partying in the streets. I feel no jealousy
>>66926462
Yes it is retard

Sound like something a poser from a suburb outside San Diego would say 2bh
>>66924942
>you have no choice in who you support, it all depends on the place where your mum dropped you out of her axe wound
Reminder that if you keep watching other teams compete after your team is mathematically eliminated, you are essentially bandwagoning.

well i'm not mexican so i wouldnt actually be from LA

Because of Tecmo Super Bowl. Raiders for life and I didn't even use Bo Jackson.
My grandpa is from el Salvador and buried into my brain how good Milan is so there's that
And well why would root for the cowboys when I can root for the pats?
(Fan since 18-1 I was 7 guys cmon give me a break)
I cheer for bayern because my uncle used to play for them back in the day.
>>66924942
Froggu Picchu, bitch.
I actually don't care about nin home town waggoning per se. It's the guy who was a Lakers fan ten years ago and a Warriors fan now with a break in between as a Heat fan that pisses me off.
For instance I have a friend who has been a Broncos fan since 98 when we were kids because of >muh Elway but he stuck with them and rooted throughout the years. So now when they won this year he got shit for being on the bandwagon but for me it's all the same because he didn't jump ship in 06 or something and come back. That's fine.
>>66924942
Because I'm not some /sp/erg autist, I follow teams that I like.
Mr. Anon, it says here that you support a club called 'the Arsenal'. Now, I went to inform on this club, and an assitant-manger told me that they 'bottle it' quite often and that their lead guy is a 'specialist in failure'.
Why should we hire you, instead of hiring the last candidate, who supported 'the Spurs', a club that, I've told, has a player named Harry Kane, who is apparently the greatest player of the beautiful game since Pele?
>>66924942
M-mia san mia. He-he.

Being from Belfast, I support Glentoran FC. My family (great grandparents/grandparents/Parents) are Rangers supporters from Glasgow. Hence my support for the 'Gers. I have no real connection to any English team so watch it as a neutral.
Saying that a decent number of footballers have filtered through to Man United from Northern Ireland, always lovely to see.

I live in KY with no teams and root for Chicago teams because of WGN.

>mfw I've seen them all play in championship games
>>66927734
>being a fan of a team because they choked
You a cuck?
My birthplace doesn't have an NFL team, none of the cities I've ever lived in (a total of 7 over almost 21 years) had an NFL team, and none of them were within 175 miles of a team, so I just went with my dad's team.
>tfw it's finally starting to pay off
>Born and live in Minnesota
>Fave NFL team this one
My whole family is from buffalo ny I was born in Danbury ct i could be some type of patriots Bruins or giants jets rangers fAg I think family tradition is a legit reason I'm the one who was born here.

Same here. From Chicago but living in Ohio. I root for the Reds and Blue Jackets and bring my kids to their games and stuff but I don't care about either team anywhere nearly on the same level that i care about the Blackhawks and the White Sox.
You can enjoy live sports in the area you live without throwing your lifelong allegiance out the window.
>not just supporting the team who's players you like the most
Lifelong BvB fan since I started watching soccer in 2013
