he's already a multi-millionaire anyways.

Jordan Morris
>>

Yes, he is currently stealing a great living, but he could be doing that at several other clubs that would have been way better for his development as a player.

defenitly this guy
>>
>>66751943
Jonathan actually had pretty good half of the season, sadly he got a pretty bad injury and is now just back from it.
>>
>>66751999
>but he could be doing that at several other clubs

no other club would pay as much as RM does for a guy who hasn't even debuted.
>>
>>66752005

Too soon to call at 17, but Madrid will probably be the end of his career. Shit move.
>>

Gotze
>>
>>66751943
Bojan is actually a quality player now at his PL team right now.
>>
>>66751943
This. You forgot Thiago Alcantara.

But this happens with all the teams. Many get lost at the final step.
>>
>>66751943
Celta follower here. Fontas was actually pretty solid for >us last year, he's been really unlucky with injuries this season.
>>
>no mention of hazard

On a pure footballing level he is objectively the most talented player on this earth. With a different attitude and/or team he would've been an all time great. Such a shame he's already 25 fucking years old.

same with this guy
>>
Any English player used by Arsenal in the past decade.
>>
>>66752061
He was a better player in 2008 than he is right now. He looked like a future Ballon d'Or contender back then, a Martial tier talent.

>>66752072
Thiago actually progressed though, injuries definitely limited him but he's a very good midfielder and a much better player than in 2010/11
>>
>>66752072

NIGGA U WOT?

Thiago is a keyplayer in peps system

he just got unlucky injuries but STRONK
>>
>>66752095
Robin had one GOAT season for Manchester United. Ashley Cole also did pretty well for Chelsea.
>>
>>66752088
He's been very good for Gijon this season and Sevilla and Valencia reportedly want him on loan for the next one.
>>
>>66752108
Bojan was going to fucking Euro 2008 but he rejected the call.
>>
Freddy Adu
the new Pelé, the next Maradona, the one who will beat Messi's records
>>
>>66752049

Not as much, but he would probably be the best paid 16 year old in the game either way. Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern, Dortmund and PSG were all drooling for him, and he visited most of them, some flew him in in a private jet. All of them would have been better for his career, and with the competition for his signing, they'd have to fork out some cash.

The ideal move football wise would have been Ajax, though.
>>
>>66752108
>>66752109

He's exactly the same player that he was on 2010/2011.

Cmon m8, he was just a promising kid in 10/11. He barely even played until Pep started resting everyone for the CL semis/final in late April and May.

Now he's a top 10 CM in the world.
>>

Cole left a decade ago
>>
>>66752220
And now he's not a promising kid because he's been improving his game and solved many of his mistakes.

Oh wait, he didn't. The only argument is how much he plays in a stacked team and how he fails against decent ones if he even plays.

He's the next Guti.
>>

PIOTREK...
>>
>>66752265
He played on an even more stacked team in 2011-2012 and didn't look as good as he does now. His performance vs Arsenal has been one of the best of the season and he was great against Juventus too.

I'd say he progressed rather well considering he battled through injuries that would end some careers.

Pic related. His passing was decent. He won possession back a couple times and orchestrated the most important goal of the game (he didn't just score it, he started the passing move as well). I don't know how can you hate on that kind of contribution in a 20 minute cameo.

>>66752511
I'm not going to pretend like I've been regularly watching Gijon but he's been getting good reviews and was actually Gijon's best player in their latest game against Barcelona.

I think he has a chance to be a starter there in 2-3 years. Right now he's obviously not even close to being good enough

so is Belgium; and just like them, you're food for hype but there's no achievement.

and as for brazil's NT: the worst it becomes, the better; the pressure will pile on those that are plaguing the football federation, so it's for the best.

not that any brazilian cares about that though. who cares about football is likely more concerned with the club they support. Everyone I ever saw attend NT games were casuals.

why would anyone care about an abused franchise and decisions done by leeches? the worse they get, the better.
>>
>>66752670
Tbf you're making a pretty good point here. People that attend or watch national games are almost always people that don't actually care about football.

People seem to forget that he looked like so much more than just another black English pacebabby when he first burst onto the scene.
>>
>>66752800
I mean even before he went to city he kinda stagnated under Rodgers. Point taken though
>>
>>66752876
brodge would change his position constantly, he went from using him as a lone striker to an attacking midfielder to a wing back, often in the same game. clearly got to him, just stopped performing. he wasn't ready to carry a team yet and brodge asked him to lead the line, realised he couldn't so started swapping him around randomly to try and get him form back, it just never worked. didn't begrudge him the move, it was his agent stirring shit and i frankly don't think he's worth 50m, just because i'm not sure he will ever get consistent
>>
>>66752846

>>
De Sciglio, he even regressed
>>
>>66752376

>>
Buonanotte

he was supposed to be kind of a big deal, but then he got in that car accident and his last season in River Plate basically made sure he'd never improve

Buonanotte showed a few sparks at Malaga, but eventually left anyways.

this is wrong actually, he is clearly a better player than he was at 19 (ignoring injuries)

however, he got overhyped hugely - he's gone from fast but amazingly bad at anything involving a football, to fast and below average (for a prem player) at some things with a football
>>
>>66753787
I really don't know about clearly. only thing he's improved is his finishing, his first touch, dribbling movement and passing haven't improved at all really. he's essentially the same player but finishes better, if you wanna be nitpicky
>>
>>66753822

he is better at all of those things though, especially dribbling

he was a disaster anytime he got near a ball when he was 19, aside from a couple of highlights where he get a through ball and has to finish without taking a touch or thinking

i think people are forgetting just how shit he was

as a chelsea follower I can say without a doubt that Oscar is significantly worse than when he came in 2012. it was a bit more than a blooter to be fair, the entire play was individually brilliant and the best thing he's done in a chelsea jersey since. But in his first season he was sharp, had a lot of flair, and had no trouble beating his man or scoring. Nowadays he drifts around in games having no impact or losing the ball anytime he tries. He only saves face in a Brazil kit if anything, and he's falling ou of favor there too despite Brazil midfield always looking disorganized without him

He's been consistently good for England. If he's fit, he should, and most likely will start.

His form for Arsenal (when he actually plays) is relatively inconsistent but he's looked brilliant every time he's pulled on an England shirt.

He looked better than both of them.

Walcott always looked like a pacebabby. Gibbs was never seen as a huge prospect he just kinda showed up out of nowhere. I reckon if we give him a run of games (which he would never get because Monreal is significantly better) then he'd regain form but until then he'll stagnate.

But Ox genuinely looked brilliant when he first arrived at Arsenal.

His face never progressed.
Looks like a 14-year-old.

Drogba was a literal who around that age. He was 24/25 when he got into Marseille and Chelsea

They were overhyped, but most of them are perfectly good players for any midtable team.

That's just not true. Oscar didn't stagnate at all. He's regressing.

He went from a dozen goals and being one of the team's best players in his debut season (12/13) to the useless piece of shit he is now.

Look at this goals/assists year-by-year. With each new year he manages fewer of them.
