That just isnt true.
Last year Curry averaged 23.8 PPG. Jordan had 12 seasons in which he averaged more PPG than that, including 8 seasons averaging well over 30 pts.
This year acurry is averaging 29.8 PPG, his personal best. Again, Jordan had 8 seasons averaging more than that, including seasons of 35 and 37.1. Fuck, Jordan's CAREER AVERAGE is still more than Curry's PPG this year.
Curry averages about 1.5 more assists than Jordan, and Jordan averaged about 1.5 more rebounds than Curry.
But again, tell me about how Curry last year was "better than any single season Jordan ever had." I'd love to hear your rationale

Jordan was the greatest offensive player in nba history, but also a top 10 defender all time. Also never losing in the finals is tough to do as many times as he was there. No other great can claim that.

Jordan one season averaged 37 points
9 assist and like 9 boards. He fell just short of being the second guy behind Oscar Robinson to average a triple double for an entire season. Also unlike Curry, Jordan plays defense.
But let's go deeper.
This is Curry's best season ever. And it's pretty much on par with a average Jordan season. Jordan scored 30 per game as his career average. So how is Steph having a better season than Jordan again?

Well that the thing, he's already 28, and just now putting up numbers Jordan in the same time frame was doing for like 5 years. Also we have to see if Curry and his ankles can actually hold up for 5-8 more years.
Lebron was the only one in the last 20 years who had the talent necessary to be as good as Jordan. He fell way short though. Honestly there probably won't ever be one as great as Jordan
