Yeah but what's the point of 1st round picks if you miss on them consistently? Noel, while a good defender, is offensively inept. Okafor, while a good post player, is terrible at everything else. Embiid could be a future star, but he has missed two seasons with injuries that basically ruin big men careers. There is still nothing promising about the sixers after three years of "the process"

Centers who can't play defense are literally useless. Okafor is going to score a lot, but will probably give up more points than he scores.
Noel is a great rim protector, but offensively terrible. Not saying I wouldn't have him on my team. They got him for Jrue Holliday, which in retrospect was a good trade, but he's not a franchise saving player.

Sorry, dudes, But after the disastrous Bynum trade it was his job to discard existing assets and get the Sixers in a position to draft stars for the future and retool. He's made his mistakes, but because the lottery didn't go his way isn't his fault.
I just don't see how the Process is any worse than the perpetual mediocrity that is a low playoff seed. They were never going to win anything with Jrue Holiday, Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner.
Everything he did was worth it.
