Well, you could also argue that those other teams taht are winning right now could NOT win those amateur tournaments in the 50s, so they went from absolute, undisputable, garbage-ass shit to being top dogs in a short time. Yes, it's harder to win in modern era than in the mid-20th century, but you have to maintain a certain level for a log time to be a big club, and such teams as MC or PSG haven't been there long enough.
