Not really.
The last Olympics in cared about was 2008.
I know there's only been 1 Olympics since then, but 2012 was so shit and I don't have any hope for future ones.
The only events people care about anyway are swimming and track and field, and they have their own dedicated international events.
I mainly stick to proper sporting competitions now.

I used to, but the Olympics has become so commercialized it’s not worth watching any more. The last one that wasn’t shit was 1976 Montreal, which was all sports all the time no matter what the event was.
But nowadays, tune into the winter Olympics for example and it’s non-stop figure skating all the time and if you want to watch something like the biathlon, then you’ll have to wait until 3:30am on a Wednesday to catch all off 5mins of the final gold medal round. And the summer Olympics ain’t much better; the shooting sports are almost completely ignored, as is fencing, wrestling and anything that isn’t gymnastic girls running around twirling ribbons…
Meanwhile, despite all the different events with hundreds of competitors, a good 2/3 of the broadcast time is pissed away on irrelevant interviews and bullshit news segments about the events they ain’t showing you.
Personally, I think the IOC ought to sell the tv rights by individual event, which would allow all the various networks to carry some Olympic content and would get all the events shown on tv.
