Well first we have to look at position and I'd say he's close to cracking top 5 point guard. Magic will only be eclipsed by someone equally as dominant physically and talent wise. Of all current players I could see giannis achieving something close just because he has the physical tools. Second on the list is big o and steph won't pass him either, averaging a triple double is insane. After that is a toss up between Isiah Thomas and John Stockton. I give the nod to Isiah, he actually won in an Era featuring magics Lakers, birds Celtics, Jordan's bulls, clydes blazers, Wilkins hawks among other teams. He also has a lot of legendary performances including putting up 25 in one quarter against magic Johnson on a sprained ankle in the finals. That said Stockton isn't far behind, he only lost because he went up against Jordan and Malone is kind of a choker. Both are phenomenal two way talents (leader of the bad boys and all time steal leader respectively) and the epitome of point guards. Isiah was fast as fuck, had a good shot but a world class shot iq, Stockton had a world class shot and was crafty with his drives. Stockton has the record assists and assists per game for a season (14.6) Isiah is second for per game for a season (13.9). To get to that level in my opinion steph will have to improve his d and do what he's doing for a few more years. That said he is firmly in the tier right below with greats like Nash and Payton, and is without a doubt the best shooter of all time.

I don't think 7-1 is as bad a loss as everyone seems to think it is because that team was under so much fucking pressure that they just collapsed, especially without Neymar. Although nobody predicted how bad it was going to be, a lot of people knew that Brazil team wasn't particularly special and was falling apart in the locker room and so was unlikely to win.
18-1, on the other hand, only occurred because the Patriots were arrogant fucks who thought they had it in the bag against a shit wild card team, which makes it all the more hilarious.

Couple of things, The Patriots were hated because they were regularly shown to have poor sportsmanship, they were coddled by the refs and the league, and they were caught cheating, the league only gave them a slap on the wrist.
