Reminder: Contracts mean absolutely nothing

>>66451841
if you aren't a top 3 team
>>
>>66451841
except when the club is one of the biggest/richest in the world and have the power to just say "no" to any incoming offer
>>
>>66451860
not even then, top players always will have the upper hand if they want to move
>>
>>66451907
when was the last time a top player forced his way out of Real/Barca/Bayern while having a long term contract?
>>
then please name some players the top 3 had to sell unwillingly in the last few years
>>
>>66451924
not a top player but pedro left barcelona while luis enrique wanted him to stay, with years left on his contract
>>
>>66451947
>not a top player
key phrase
>>
>>66451950
players will always have the upper hand, no matter what the contract says. They will force the move or run their contract till the end, like khedira or valdés did. Or like xabi alonso, who forced his move out of real and left them without defensive mid few days before the start of the season due to 'personal' problems. Having an unhappy player is a waste of wages and a locker room time bomb, not to mention the sports and economic disaster it can be for the club to go against him. In the end they will get away with what they want
>>
>>66451984
name a single fucking Real/Barca/Bayern player that forced his way out of one of these clubs
>>
>>66452006
in the last few years pedro, cesc, xabi alonso, can't you read? lel
>>
Why did you think this deserved a thread?
Go back to /a/ you dumb cunt
>>
>>66452006
He did

Xabi Alonso
>>
>>66452011
none of these were top players and Cesc/Alonso didn't force their way out. They were allowed to leave because their clubs had a replacement in Rakitic/Kroos (and Cesc was pretty much forced out)

The last time top players forced their way out of those clubs while under long term contract were probably Hargreaves for Bayern, Makelele for Real and Figo for Barcelona.

The only time you can snap up a good player from those teams is when they're barely getting playing time or when the club has a better/more glamorous replacement ready. Neither will happen to Lewandowski so he's staying.
>>
>>66452031
>lewandowski
>top player
wew lad
>>
>>66452011
only pedro forced his move and he wanted more playing time
xabi was 33 and unwanted by real
cesc was crying like a bitch when he was sold he wanted nothing more than stay at barca
>>
>>66452021
>why did you make a sports thread on the sports board? waaaah
kys cancer, I bet you're pro-generals
>>
>>66451924
Xabi Alonso, Ibra, Coentrao (loan), Yaya, Kroos, Higuaín, etc etc
>>
>>66452083
All those cases fall under lack of playing time, club having a better/more expensive replacement or contract running out.

Also your definition of a top player is pretty loose

If they are a top player who is starting games for one of these clubs why would they want to leave?

Although they could if they wished to.
>>
>>66452127
>top club
>liberpoop
>>
>>66452125
I made this claim in light of Lewandowski's new contract. None of those cases are analogical to his situation and most of the players you listed were simply told to get the fuck out.
>>
>>66452031
>none of these were top players
sure, whatever
>and Cesc was pretty much forced out
nope, he he admits he forced the move
http://www.20minutos.es/deportes/noticia/cesc-fabregas-fui-yo-quien-dijo-barca-queria-ir-2169142/0/
>They were allowed to leave because their clubs had a replacement
kroos being a replacement for a stopper, ok. He was forced in that position because alonso left the club without defensive mid, and look how well it has worked out.
Barcelona was forced to look for a replacement, obviously, and also asked xavi to stay one more season when he was already out of the club
>>66452055
>xabi was 33 and unwanted by real
completely false, he forced his way out in the last moment due to marital problems
>cesc was crying like a bitch when he was sold he wanted nothing more than stay at barca
false, see the interview linked above. The club and luis enrique wanted him to stay. Funny thing, he had a clause in his contract that stipulated he would be paid his whole contract in full if he was ever transfered and after forcing the move he also demanded barcelona paid the remaining of his contract. This pissed off the club so much they put out a statement in the official website saying cesc had been less than stellar at barcelona and would only perform for the first half of each season lel

Again, players have the upper hand. If tomorrow messi wants to leave, he will leave. Same goes for anybody else
>>
>>66452006
stop trying to put bayern on the same level as real and barcelona, theyd literally finish 3rd max in the epl.
>>
>>66452173
>nope, he he admits he forced the move
lmao at believing that. They literally signed a much better player at his position before he left
>>
>>66452181
here's your (you)
>>
>>66452155
They were about to win the league la
>>
>>66452173
didn't know about xabi's marital problems
but cesc's story i'm not buying, i can recall him talking about wanting to stay and fight for his spot etc, he's also been complete shit for barcelona for all three years there
but i do remember the club talking shit about him on the website kek ultimate bitch move
>>
>>66451984
>top player
>freaking Sami Khedira

tiptopkek
>>
>>66451860
to be fair

Lewandowski would still leave if some1 would literally throw money at bayern

120million and good old kalle would drive him personally to his new employer
>>
>>66452866
He isn't close to being worth half that.
>>
>>66451841
>mean absolutely nothing

it's called leverage
>>
>>66452866
he would absolutely not
>>
>>66452173
>cesc admits he forced the move
It's like a girl who says she broke up with you
>>
>>66451841
>Contracts mean absolutely nothing
mean nothing but money
