I assume Löw is just fucking around in these friendlies. I really don't understand these meme nominations, i.e. Podolski/Rudy. It's fine to not treat the NT as some kind of reward for players who did well at their clubs (see Huth), but then players shouldn't be rewarded for past successes with the NT either.
Also I don't understand why he insists on shoehorning le technical defenders men into the team when he won the WC with the most hoofbally fullbacks imaginable. Can isn't a fucking winger and Rüdiger is just a liability right now. Not sure why he loves Hector so much either, guy is as mediocre as they come.
I'm not sold on Gomez either and Reus needs to start doing things against relevant teams again or I don't see any reason for him starting over someone like Sane or even Draxlel.
