On the surface, that may be true. When the law was first explained to me, I did not agree with it. After I was able to read it myself, my thoughts changed.
The decree in the law about minimum wage I really agree with because I know how devastating a minimum wage hike can be for small businesses. And, since my family owns a small business, I do not support a minimum wage hike.
Part III of the law just re-states parts of a law that gives equal rights of employment, which is kind of a problem in certain parts of the state. Also, it re-states protection from discrimination of refusal of services.
As for Part I, the part that the NBA has such a problem with, honestly I agree with single sex multiple occupancy bathrooms based on ones biological sex. I do not want to take the chance that my daughter has to share a change room with a man. I'm sorry if that makes me a bigot.

Actually, it's majority whites that are moving. Sure Blacks move, but more often then not the Blacks living in the Rust Belt don't have the monetary resources to relocate and are more willing to stay there because of factors such as family and "somewhat" stable jobs. But the lower middle class whites that move to North Carolina and other parts of the South do more harm than good imo.
