children at least here in colombia loves to play soccer with some cheap ball with their friends.
It's very common to find soccer schools here training at every park.
Also, it's very easy for a talented kid to reach a minor league of some of the official clubes.
If the kid is very talented he will end up playing on some foreign team.
clubes here make lots of money selling young players to foreing clubes.
dunno how is the situation in other countries.
