SI has consistently had a great stable of writers. Their features are almost always well done. Grantland was hit or miss for me and was ultimately overrated imo.
Shit blogs like deadspin killed quality sports journalism and now most of the good writers do radio or tv.

Pretty much, but he is very talented which can't be argued. He also looks better since there aren't many in depth sports journos like him even working anymore.
