I would play Lukaku instead of Falcao. Personally I don't you should always just pick whoever has the higher overall rating. The way I like to play Lukaku would be much better because of his higher pace and physical stats.

the higher pace is useful, but i rarely cross the ball into the area so his height doesnt do me that much good. On the other hand Falcao has a killer shot, which i why i prefer him over Lukaku.

I appreciate his height when the gk kicks the ball long and also on corners as you mention. I tried to play with Sturridge instead of Falcao and Lukaku and it was a complete disaster.

Bad in general at defense. If I have 5 defenders, if I miss a tackle, there's an extra player to recover. Similarly with a 5 line, it's harder to dribble into the box My issue has always been defense, not scoring. I don't mind using 5 outfield players that much.

I have been playing PES 16 since My Club is a free mode on PS4 and it has been fantastic so far. I love the mode and the game. Fuck Ultimate Team and FIFA.
