Only Barça fans root for Barça and only Real Madrid fans root for Real Madrid, Satan. We tend to root for the other teams when they advance in Europe though (Atlético, Sevilla, Athletic, etc). That's the thing. Sevilla has the budget of Norwich City.
And that's one of the highest budgets in La Liga apart of Madrid/Barcelona. Yet, unlike EPL clubs ours can into win.
Also, money just relatively matters. Top tier budgets of top tier clubs as Madrid, Barca, Bayern give you to buy whatever superstar you want, but then there's this budget range that allows you to conform a pretty competitive picking from what you've grown from your feeder youth categories plus the big, big pool of interesting players that there's around.
So if you're within the budget range of clubs like Sevilla you will always be able to have a competitive winning team. If you know what you're doing and actually play to win, not to entertain chinks and burgers with 'nice' football as it's the case with EPL clubs and the get routinely fucked in the butt by other european clubs because of their flawed tactical concepts and lack of competitive approach.
That's why Everton or Norwich will never amount to anything in spite of having much bigger budgets than Sevilla. You can see it now with supposed big teams like Man. Utd or Liverpool or Arsenal falling behind to an ayyylmao tier level where they stand now due to muh memes about what football should be like, conceptual inbreeding and tv pundits opinion leaders > reality.
