That's the pathetic thing here. All other "top" clubs are struggling this season, but Arsenal's inconsistency and tendency to collapse late in the season meant they couldn't capitalize on it.
They'll never get a shot at the title as good as this one for some years, but they threw it away.

Chelsea's collapse, Man City not seeming to give a shit about the league since the Pep announcement, Manchester United LVG'd, Liverpool only in the early days of Klopp's reign with the team transitioning. And still Arsenal fuck it up!
Looking forward to next season and beyond, with lots of teams getting high profile managers and investing, it just looks unceasingly competitive and difficult to secure the league title in the years ahead, and it could be many years before Arsenal have a chance as good as this season again. I wouldn't say they're shit, just embarrassing. Consistently and characteristically embarrassing, yet they still manage to remain so naive and cocky in games. Every season you just know how Arsenal will do in the lead up to christmas and after, this season had the potential to be an outlier because everyone around them got aids but alas, they are doing absolutely everything possible to make sure they fuck it up.
