Not to be biased but I'm going to use Canada as an example here.
Hockey is obviously the most popular sport in Canada by a longshot. Because of that, you see an extremely prominent Canadian pressence in all of the NHL.
So how come a country where by far the most popular sport is Basketball, a total population that exceeds Canada's, doesn't have a large presence in the NBA?
Is it a geographic thing? There is a lot of European players in hockey and basketball. Do they just naturally, genectically underwhelm compared to others?
