Messi's team mates may have been better together but I"m not so sure we can say they were undeniably better.
Ronaldo's had: Van Nistleroy, Modric, Di Maria, Alonso, Khedira, Benzema, Higuain, Scholes, Rooney etc...all sorts of world class players in champion teams.
I'd argue that while both teams have had incredible players it's Messi that has made the difference, Messi is the reason Barcelona have accomplished what no other club has.
