If they do end up winning the title, will it just be a showing of how shit the Premier League has become?
>>
yes, but it wont happen

14 games is a long time
>>
>>65486519
>how inconsistent the top teams in the Premier League has been

fixed
>>
Oi...walk on...Oi OP.... ya OP.... walk on

>he's not walking on
>>
>teams can never get better
>>
Get banged, chat shit
>>
When will people finally accept that Leicester are actually a fucking good team?
>>
>>65486519
Football is an entertainment and nothing more. If they go on to win the title it proves how great the Premier League is compared to the other boring, predictable leagues.
>>
but >muh money

English clubs are a joke in the CL/EL
>>
>>65486898
never, just like with the auto industry people cannot, literally cannot accept change

if lester went on to win the bpl and then the champions league people would still come up with excuses
>>
>>65486898
Never

United/Chelsea/Arsenal fans are deluded

This image would no longer be relevant.

>>65486519
The Premier League has way more parity than any of the other major European leagues. I fail to see how that's a bad thing.
>>
>>65486898
They won't and all they'll say as to why they aren't good is "because they are a meme"
>>
>>65486597
not as long as the 25 in which they've already come out on top
>>
>>65486974
The image is wrong anyway
>>
>>65486945
i know right. we should be winning it every year. going 4 years without winning it is a disgrace.
>>
>>65486597
>haha, they'll luck will end before 2016, they will choke
>what a bunch of crooks, wont make it past january, they will choke
>whatever, city will stop them of course and they will choke
>it doesn't matter, still many games to go, they'll choke

k
>>
>>65487028
It only got Chelsea and Man City switched at the end. It's still a fact that only 3 teams have won the title in the past decade.
>>
>>65487070
their luck*
>>
>>65487028
In what way is it wrong?
>>
>>65486974
Where are Liverpool and Arsenal? I thought they were big clubs
>>
>>65487086
doesnt change the fact that some of those seasons were exceptionally close and exciting, regardless of who eventually won it.
>>
>>65487110
see
>>65487086

>>65487086
No denying that fact. Still a more exciting league than the others around europe.
>>
Leave Leicester to me
>>
>>65487058
Except it's not even about winning, they aren't even competitive

They get embarrassed against any half-decent opposition
>>
>>65487110
it's a knock-out competition vs a league. a better comparison would be with the champions league
>>
>>65487141
> Still a more exciting league than the others around europe.
Agreed.
>>
>>65487146
real madrid weren't competitive for a decade. how much of a casual newfaggot are you exactly

Wow, that changes everything!
>>65487158
Fair enough
>>
>>65487086
And how five teams have won in the last 22 years. Machester United winning 12 of those.

I just can't fathom how britbongs find this sport even remotely exciting. I mean, it's one thing for the game itself to be boring; nothing happens in soccer, we all know that. It's another thing for there to be literally no excitement in the league. When the same team wins essentially every season, why bother?

not if i get to you first mate.
>>
>>65487196
If you think the Premier League is bad in that respect, take a look at the others.
>>
>>65487196
>When the same team wins essentially every season, why bother?
>50% is every season
>implying every season is a walk in the park and doesn't have last minute drama
>implying just because there aren't loads of commercials, nothing happens
>>
>>65487146
For all the talk about how great other leagues are, it's actually only one club who stopped the CL looking like this:
05: Liverpool
06: Arsenal
08: Man United
09: Man United
11: Man United
12: Chelsea

It's less about the PL being shit and Barcelona being good basically.

>real madrid and barcelona have won 24 of the last 29 championships

Euros will actually, unironically defend this.
>>
>>65487280
Could be worse. Only 5 teams have ever won the portugese league
>>
>>65487280
>>65487280
Not really, La Liga doesn't even try to be fair with the way money is distributed, which also created a culture of smaller teams spending unsustainable amounts of money due to a lack of regulation. At least the PL makes an effort to maintain some sort of parity in that regard

>>65487280
Bayern Munich + Borussia Dortmund have won 18 of the last 25.
>>
>>65487337

Don't forget guys, soccer is """"""""exciting""""""""
>>
>the land of ruthless capitalism wants socialism and forced parity in their sports because shit teams deserve to be rewarded

uhhh?
>>
>>65487357
Hey footballs capitalist you wouldn't be against capitalism would you? Commie.
>>
>>65487357
The journey is what matters pal
>>
>>65487372
But if a franchise isn't making enough money, it'll be forced to move cities. It's in the NFL's best interests to to keep all the teams competitive over a large area to maximise revenue.
>>
>>65487372
MLS literally couldn't exist with relegation, if that's what you're getting at. It completely and totally disincentivises investing in getting a team started.
>>
>>65487372
They're fucking clueless m8
>>
>>65487430
>MLS is the only league that doesn't allow capitalism
>>

Nice false equivalency, jackass
>>

Confirmed commie
>>
>>65487442
It's the only one that can be reasonably compared to sports in Europe.
>>
>>65487372
Capitalism in American sports works just fine. That's why we have 4 major sports leagues and 1 second tier one on the rise.
>>
>>65487452
>I need to put in a load of shitty rules to try and win cause my team aren't good enough
Get good or go home. That's how football has done it for almost 150 years
>>
>>65486974
>cup competition vs league competition
The CL would be less repetitive, even tho Barça kinda ruined that too recently
>>
>>65487500
Sports being about aspiring to be the best and stay there? Get outta here that's why our games such a failure we need to let shit teams win!
>>
American franchises play for one trophy the whole season.

Most European leagues have multiple domestic cups, plus the continental ones to compete over. So yes, football is exciting, even when one team is dominant.
>>
>>65487603
>Man U win everything
>Haven't won the FA Cup in over 10 years
Coincidently their drought has come at the same time every match of theirs has been on tv

Where did I talk about Real? And even during that period after the Galacticos around 2006-2010 they were still pretty good
>>

38 - 25 is 13 m8
>>
>/sp/ before this season
>OMG EPL IS SO SHIT IT'S ALWAYS UNITEDWINSLOLZ AND THEN IT ONLY CHANGED CAUSE CITY AND CHELSEA GOT SUGAR DADDIES FUCKING SHIT LEAGUE LA LIGA IS BEST

Why isn't City in that list? Or Spurs?
