I watched the world championship (or whatever its called) in Chicago almost two years ago with thousands of other people.
It was the first and last soccer game I ever watched.
90% of the players just kinda stood around and occasionally half fast-walked to wherever the ball was.
I understand that maybe one or two or three guys might be running whatever fake units of measurement you use, fine.
But when the majority of the team looks like they could literally sit down and have the same amount of impact of the game (which usually ends 1-1) then that's not impressive.
In real football, every player is fucking moving every play.
You might say the guys on the line just kinda stand there, but no. Those guys are using their entire body to push and shove against an entire other line of guys doing the same thing.
It's probably one of the hardest jobs in sports.
So if you think that soccer players run further and do more physical work than football players, I dare you to makr any soccer team play defense against the Patriots.
They will tire out immediately.
