Same defense got systematically picked apart by Tom Brady a year later in the Super Bowl.

I'm a seahawks fan and I am happy for the Broncos. Great team

>>65470351
people said that about the seahawks two years ago
>>
>>65470510

Brady still had 2 INT

also no Lane or Avril. I will say the defense wasnt as good but a dumb call completely saved Brady's ass and everyone knows it.
>>
>>65470510
Get real, that Seahawks D was decimated by injuries. Hawks would have smashed the Pats if they were healthy.
>>
nigger the raiders beat the broncos, doesnt mean im gonna have a winning season any time soon.
>>
>>65470659

Edelman was literally concussed and still played, don't bring up injuries as an excuse
>>
>>65470054
Broncos fan here, fuck you, who cares. This owl is way more satisfying because it was the 50th and it's putting all bandwagoning dabbing nigs on suicide watch.
>>
>>65470637
It was true then and it's true now, the 2013 Seahawks is a GOAT defense.
>>
>>65470640
>a dumb call completely saved Brady's ass and everyone knows it.
No play is ever guaranteed. Marshawn might have fumbled it away or gotten stuffed, you'll never know. Lockette might have caught the pass and Carroll would be hailed as a gutsy genius, you'll never know.

You only view it as a dumb call because of the result.

48 had some legit moments, though.

Tonight's Owl was a shitfest of turnovers and autism.
>>
>>65470640
> a fluke play before the interception saved any hope the Seahawks would have ever had of that victory.
See how that works? Prior to the interception it was sheer luck they even got that 1st down bringing them to the Red Zone.

...and? What relevance does that have? Thats like a 49ers fan posting the score of SB 24. Who cares?
>>
>>65470133
Yes, in fact championships in all sports sometimes end in blowouts.
>>
>>65470105
A 48 point loss isn't a blowout. It's rape.

What are you hanging your hat on? The Seahawks don't have the most recent bowl, and they have less overall than the Broncos.

Not a Buncos fan, but objectively this.
>>
>>65470133

>>
>>65470054
seahawks would have destroyed broncos again if they were in the final
>>
>>65471084

>>
>>65470770
It was goal and inches. No way Lynch gets stuffed.
>>
>>65470790
or 02 Bucs
>>
>>65471216
You don't know that for sure, and you'll never know.

Just because a regular coin lands on heads 5 times in a row doesn't mean it will land on heads the 6th time in a row.
>>
> Not realizing 3+ core players of the Broncos were out with season enders
> Not realizing their O-line has been shit forever without Clady since injuries

As a BroncoBro, I was shocked we even made the Owl let alone win a Playoff game.
>>
>>65471216
Not to mention even if he got stuff they had two timeouts left, which means they could have tried to pound it in 3 times.

No way any defense stops Lynch three times in a row from the 1-yard-line with an Owl hanging in the balance. Lynch is a nigga with too much willpower for that.
>>
>>65471216
And the Wilson to Kearse tipped dragon was a complete fluke. You can't what if a game, the interception happened because of a bad call, and the Wilson-Kearse gain was completely flukey as well.
>>
>>65470510
Different season. The 2013 Seahawks defense was one of the best ever. They had the stats and passed the eye test.
>>
>>65471270

this is what pats fans try to convince themselves of when deep down inside they know Pete snuck them in a ring
>>
>>65471338
>greatest offense in NFL history
>basically gets shutout except for a garbage time TD
>destroyed from minute one by one of the best defenses of all-time

I don't think having defensive starters would have helped them very much, m8
>>
>>65470770
>You only view it dumb because of the result

That's usually how it works you dumbass.

There is no logical reasoning behind passing it in that situation. You have a timeout left and an absolute monster at running back who can punch it in, it's 2nd down. You do not pass it there
>>
>>65470640

>dumb call

Yeah, that legendary offensive line of Seattle is always a sure bet on the goal line. You fucking redditing moron, stop talking about football when all you have is a bullshit, superficial understanding of the game. Muh Marshawn Lynch is gud bcuz top 10 highlights on espn. He wud hav easily scored bcuz he mvp
>>
>>65471434
> Wilson-Kearse complete fluke tipped pass
That game should have been won long before the interception, you xehawks just need to cling to your possibility of a win.
>>
>>65470054
Wow you beat the Denver C squad

Check the starters, Junior. Manning's greatness is the only reason we made that bowl
>>
>>65470296
>>65470054
Hate the Hawks or Pats all you want but either of them would've put on a better show than this disgrace.
>>

>>65470790
>>65471248
that's not how you spell '15 broncos
>>
>>65470054

not every team can be as elite as the hawks
>>
>>65471349

They had one timeout, if he gets stuffed they have to throw on the next play. Also, goal line success is entirely contingent on the initial push of the offensive line. I wouldn't expect you to have known that sort of thing, though, as you've only been watching since 2014.
>>
>>65471559
Seattle was dominating until Lane and Avril went out. As soon as Lane broke his arm they targeted Simon with a busted shoulder. Once Avril went down Seattle had no real pass rush so Brady picked them apart.
>>
>>65471697
Best defenses of the 21st century are:
1. 2000 Ravens
2. 2013 Seahawks
3. 2002 Bucs
4. 2015 Broncos
5. 2012 49ers
>>
>>65471849
unfair to compare 2000 and 2002 to the others as their jobs were a lot easier
>>
>>65471849

I hate the Xehawks but the 2013 team would have destroyed the 2000 Ravens.
>>
>>65471836
Sounds like a team depth issue that Seattle should have fixed earlier in the season, not a problem with the Patriots.
>>
>>65471836

Lane picked it from his own end zone, NE's offense would have put points on the board even if hadn't gotten hurt. The only reason the game was close was because Kyle Arrington gave up multiple dragons to some literal who. Seattle didn't have a completion through the first 25 minutes of the game.
