Can't remember any dissenting voices in the football media when he was appointed. To a man everyone declared he would be a massive success because he can draw circles around out of position defenders for Ed Chamberlain.
I don't know how he is able to reconcile this Valencia fiasco, a job he was never qualified for but got through a billionaire friend, and his Salford club project etc with his constant bleating about modern owners on Sky.
His credibility should be in tatters but Sky will sick him off more than ever now.
