(Basketball) I had always been the best in my school and was beating men in pickup games when I was 14. I never really "trained", just played a lot of basketball and work on my game. I was 16 and playing for my state allstar team that competes against other state allstars. Also went to a couple camps that were invite only(adidas/nike). I did great at the camps and had coaches from smaller colleges talking to me. Then I played against a team that had Carlos Boozer and Mike Dunleavy on it. Boozer basically played like Kobe Bryant , he played like a shooting guard as opposed to a big man. Dunleavy was tall as fuck and just raining 3's. I couldn't do anything. I told myself I would use my skills to get a scholarship and just focus on school, which I did.

i was an incredible athlete actually. i went into the military after high school. when i came out and was accepted into a private college after i coulda played lacrosse or football for the school if i was motivated enough, but i wasnt. 6ft around 200lb at the time. endurance better than anyone, monster with the weights and a will that doesnt give. we live and learn
