BIG NEWS

JUVENTUS IS CURRENTLY SIGNING BERNARDO SILVA FOR AROUND 30m
>>
>>64904877
He's just a weight for Modric, he doesn't add anything to the team, he can't defend and doesn't help forward.
Since he joined Real he's only good t passing backward and sideway
>>
>>64904916
Hiddink won't stay long, he has to win the CL and the FA cup to get another year and even that could not be enough.
I don't see how that will stop Roman from trying to get Poop.
>>
>>64904933
And yet Carrick is rated pretty highly. PL move makes sense in that case.
>>
>>64904772
if he's actually said that then it's pretty obvious he has his heart set on united

"could be 2 years" i.e. "it could be 2 years depending on whether or not van Gaal sees out the remainder of his contract"
>>
>>64904957
m8 Carrick is a great forward passer and provides so much more than simple sideways/backwards passing. very intelligent footballer who can make interceptions look easy

he's the busquets of english football, in his peak he was arguably better. equally if not more important
>>
>>64904964
It could also simply mean that he wants to take a year off regardless of what happens. He did take one after his Barça job, after all.
>>
>>64904877
Far from flop.
He distribute the ball, dictate the tempo, being competent at both attacking and defending. Not flashy, but a really flexible player, so plebs doesn't rate him.
>>
>>64904981

>He was arguably better

Carrick was a top player but he was never that good
>>
>>64904877
He passes sideways and has the occasional blooter that misses by 6 yards to remind people he still exists
>>

hiddink has said he is leaving after the season and wont stay on.
>>
>>64904844
Blick have confirmed it, and said Luzern are almost certainly losing Freuler to Atalanta.
>>
>>64905006
Yes. He rarely out of position when opponent doing a counter. He also cut a lot of pass.
>>
>>64904998
Busquets was never that good. Carrick was easily a match for him.

Also, Carrick wasn't playing with Xavi and Iniesta for his entire career. He's been paired with a 35 year old Scholes, Fletcher, Park, Rafael, Cleverley, Alan Smith an out of form Kagawa, Wayne Rooney as a CM etc. etc. etc.

I think Carrick would look a lot better if he was paired with Xavi and Iniesta for 7 years, don't you?
>>
>>64904995
Well from what I've seen it's gone from

>I will manage in England
>I will manage in England next season
>It may take 2 years for me to start managing in England

Seems like he's found out something new. i.e. LvG will see out his contract if he gets top 4.
>>
>>64905054
>>64904997
Nah m8 he's terrible defensively, he always makes Modric run everywhere because of his low work rate.
The only thing he does better than Modric defensively is tackling, and that's because he always late even though he plays deeper.
>>
>Roma interested in Domenico Criscito

Anyone know how he's been playing? Don't follow Russian football tbqh.
Seems like an improvement over Digne though.
>>
>>64905059
>I think Carrick would look a lot better if he was paired with Xavi and Iniesta for 7 years, don't you?
I would argue that the lucky man of the trio was Xavi, not Busquet.

The midtable really is worse than the relegation zone. At least with the relegation there is a reason to get angry or happy, yesterday Chelsea results meant being 12-14th ie jackshit.
>>
>>64905151
Not shit, but heavily flawed players.
Especially Xavi, young Pirlo was much more complete.
Xavi has great qualities, but he's a player who needs to be babysitted in order to be great for the team.
Put him next to mediocre players and he disappears, unlike Busquet and especially Iniesta (the real GOAT of the trio)
>>
>>64905170
Because Real Madrid desperately need a DM and United need a polyvalent CM.
Well it's more true for Real, but Kroos needs to leave for his own sake anyway.
>>

I honestly believe RM might sell Hamez too, if they don't get rid of Penaldo, Benzema or Bale. The BBC always plays, they have to have balance in the midfield, Hamez can't really start most games. I think him and Kroos both could go to new clubs. Probably not in this window but in the summer.

Arteta, Flamini, and Rosicky are all gone at the end of the season - all clubs need that sort of depth

And of the young guys, no one really looks like any good in that position except maybe Bielik but he's too young. And every game Flamini plays represents a high chance of dropped points (as we've seen in the past 24 hours) so it was necessary if there's any hope of sustaining a title challenge

the legislation was created to end 'trafficking with minors', so some clubs foolishly thought the wouldn't be guilty since they were not 'trafficking' with them. What's absurd is if your kid has talent and wants to become a musician, matematician, etc. he can join any academy in the world to form himself and become successful. If your kid wants to be a football player he can only join the academies fifa considers geographically close, which sucks depending where they live.

Not sure this legislation would still exist if sued in european courts since it kinda goes against freedom of movement but I doubt anybody will take on fifa. Also, they do have a point sometimes there's human trafficking with these kids, specially african ones.

You could be right but iirc I remember reading it applies to every kid below age whatever that goes beyond certain km radius from their parents' home, otherwise zidane's kid wouldn't be considered an infraction.

The 'local talent drain protection' is a side effect, they really made the legislation to stop the trafficking.

none of them are going to end up with the first team, we'll end up buying some overated shit like kroos or lavezzi only for them to flop while the loan players end up world class players at CL teams

im doing some research on transfer fees and im confused, which is the actual value of bale to real? was it ever revealed? im seeing different prices
>>
>>64906385
i think it was around 85m but madrid made out like it was a few Million less so ronaldo wouldnt lose his shit as bale was more expensive
>>
>>64906385
£85.3 million (€100 million).
>>
>>64906385
It was 100m, Spurs outright confirmed it.

Madrid were trying some accounting shenanigans to make it look ~10m cheaper so Ronaldo wouldn't get upset at no longer being the most expensive
>>
>>64906385
the real value is probably the higher one. The difference between both prices is ~10m so it doesn't really change much. In a radio interview in cadena ser Florentino was asked the question directly and he refused to confirm/deny and simply said Bale had been cheap. Also, there were some additional bonuses paid to tottenham for winning the cl with Bale that year (rumoured ~25m, who knows)
