Can we all agree that the Vikings would have won that game if they drafted Derek Carr instead of Teddy Bridgewater?
>>
>>64858797
Obviously.
>>
Maybe but Bridgewater has more potential
>>
>>64858797
Yes
>>
>>64858797
Based Carr could have at least scored 1 TD to give them the win.
>>

>>
>>64858797
Just look at the difference in their demeanor. One looks like a jaguar eyeing down its prey before the slaughter. The other a scared and confused kitten.
>>
>>64858838
AHAAHAHHA
Carr has a much stronger arm than Bridgewater and he doesn't always look scared in the pocket and look for his checkdown
>>
>>64858992
Teddy is a better game manager, game managers win championships
>>
>blaming the qb for the loss
>missing a 27 yard field goal in the nfl
>>
>>64859118
The QB couldn't make the plays that could have made it a blow out. All he needed was one TD and he couldn't even get that.

yea man, Carr would have some serious issues when asked to hand it off to AD 30 times a game and throw for 140 yards
>>
>>64858838
Based on? Teddy is straight garbage.
>>
>>64858838
When is this meme going to be over?
>>
If their roles were reversed, Carr would be a called a game manager in Minnesota and Bridgewater would be an overhyped bust in Oakland.
>>
>>64859344
Its pretty clear from watching Carr that he has immense talent unlike Teddy.

They would definitely let him pass if he was on Minnesota.
>>
> 2 NFL seasons

HE'S FUCKING GARBAGE FFS
>>
>tfw watching Teddy's body language and face during the 4th quarter

At no point did I ever believe he would win them the game. Straight garbo w no competetive fire or poise.
>>
>>64858797

car is a turnover machine, but teddy definitely needs make more plays. Every good defense plays the vikes the same way; put 8-9 in the box and dare the qb to beat them
>>
>>64859118
>Blaming the kicker for the loss.
>Not even having 200 offensive yards and 0 points.
>>
>>64859514
>Combining multiple seasons stats

How retarded is your logic? When you are rating a developing young QB you dont add all their stats together, the only effective way to rate each QB is to compare single season stats and their improvement from the prior season.

Carr took tremendous strides
>>
>>64859617
Carr would have 5000 yards if he played against that type of defense
>>
>>64859636
Talking about Teddy. And both seasons are pretty much identical stat-wise. He sucks.
>>
>>64859701
Oh yeah, almost forgot Carr threw like 33 TDs this year
>>
>>64858797
Carr and Bortles are progressing so quickly that Vikings fans feel inadequate because two teams that have a history of being shit at drafting QBs got it right and the Vikings STILL can't stop drafting game managers.

Holy shit this is gold.

Jesus Christ, dude hasn't even improved
Carr has improved
Bortles has massively improved
Manziel even improved
Bridgewater is a carbon copy is his rookie season.

There's a chance that the coaching staff is responsible for centering the offense around a 30 year old RB, but still.
>>
>>64859807
Nah. Teddy had looks all game that he consistently ignored for the first option or checkdown.

Dudes running white open, recievers open after their break. All ignored for the 4 yard dump off.

He's shit. Too scared to survey the field. Doesn't have the footwork to create in the pocket.
>>
>>64859807
Manziel is a manlet, he is russel wilson tier
>>
>>64859873
Once Teddy's deal ends, he's going to get a 100 million dollar contract.
>>
Bridgewater is Alex Smith at best and Christian Ponder at worst. He just checks it down on every play. He also has an awful throwing motion that causes him to be inaccurate on deep passes.

Carr is the next Aaron Rodgers but without the homo stuff.

Bortles is the next Stafford. They're both gun slingers who make big plays but also have a tendency to turn the ball over more than you'd like.

Manziel is probably Todd Marinovich 2.0
>>
>>64859807
how does someone only get 14 touchdowns in 16 games, it's not like AD had many either
how'd they win 11 games???
>>

How does mariota rate? didn't get a chance to watch any titans games
>>
Teddy's best wr was a 5th round rookie and mike wallace on top of having one of the worst o-line's in the league.

Meanwhile carr is throwing to future hof wr cooper and another wr crabtree who shouldve been the first wr in his class if al davis wasn't a retard and went for heyward-bey.

He's also throwing behind one of the best o-lines in the league.

Next year is the deciding year on bridgewater once the o-line gets healthy again.

On top of his wr hopefully not including patterson/johnson/wallace looking like the main options going into the season.

You only say that cause he's black, dat upside. Bridgewater is ass, easily the worst QB to start all 16 games last season.

I enjoy how no one ever mentioned rhett ellison being injured, he was the unsung hero for the vikings all season. Being the only reliable non-oline blocker in the bulk of plays.
>>
>>64861022
bridgewater also has the best back in the league

don't make excuses for him at most he's a top 20 qb he'll hang around but I expect him to be qb# 2 status within the next 4 years
>>
>>64858797
Unbaised lions fan
Yes
Carr looked good against us despite being shut down he still found ways to make a play or two for a field goal

Teddy never threw as much against us but to be fair Peterson JUST came back from the break so it would make sense to test his wheels

Still I feel that Carr would have done some risky plays but would eventually score TDs on Seahawks

That is what separates them really
Carr is more willing to do risky plays while teddy isn't
>>
>>64861137
Having the best rb is a double edge sword for a qb friendo

Know you didn't watch the games, but only 2 wr's were running routes meanwhile due to the shit oline there were a lot of multi te jumbo packages.

>don't make excuses for him
The reason you state that is because you want him to be bad and for your opinion displayed on an anonymous forum to be right.

smhtbhfam
>>
>>64860286
Bortles is way more mobile than Stafford. Once his team stops forcing him to play from behind every game his turnover rate will drop

Unlike the Lions the Jaguars will be far more aggressive in putting more talent on the other side of the ball. Stafford never had a safety valve like Julius Thomas either, so that'll make a difference
>>
>>64861179
>Having the best rb is a double edge sword for a qb friendo

No it isn't, the defense stacks the box and opens up the entire field. On top of that it shortens every series to 2nd or 3rd and manageable. The problem is that Teddy's unwillingness to make even mildly risky throws completely negates this advantage.

He either needs to find a pair of balls or a better QB coach.

The game plan for scoring the whole game was "give the ball to AP" and peterson didn't deliver. There were also quite a few straight up dropped passes (understandable when you factor in the weather).

This wasn't even a quarterback game though and neither QB really won or lost it for his team

Great choice with that image, it suits you.

Usbank stadium is set to open in july, then for rb 2017 looks to be a very good draft class.
>>
>>64864207

That game was like 29 degrees. The MIN/SEA game was -25 with wind chill. Richard Sherman's fucking contact lens was beginning to freeze while wearing it for fucks sake. Russell Wilson was having trouble communicating his plays at the line cause when he would yell his mouth was starting to freeze so bad it hurt. There is cold games and then there are games like what we saw on Sunday. There isn't any comparison to that Pats game at all.
>>
>>64864309

You do realize that was their last game outside in Minnesota right? They have been a dome team for years and were only playing outside at that college stadium the last two seasons till their fancy new dome is built. Lucky for them they won't play outside in the cold like that for a while unless there is an unusually cold night in Green Bay in the post season.

Carr wouldn't even get half the attempts he got this season if he played for the Vikings.

You all need to get it through your head that Minnesota 110% wants Bridgewater to be a game manager and calls the plays that way.

His stat line in Sunday was fine.
>>
>>64859807
>Bortles has massively improved
>garbage time hero

kek
>>
>>64864339
So stick to being a completely one dimensional offense? At some point Bridgewater is going to have to establish himself as a passing threat or you'll just end with repeats of Sunday.

Also the linchpin of this plan assumes you're going to land another HoF running back.
>>
Teddy is improving, he's just got to do a better job protecting the ball when he gets hit. He's relatively safe with the ball, he makes mostly good choices, and he keeps his team in games. That's a recipe for success, it'll be interesting to see where he can go once they put a few more weapons around him
>>
Vikes need to draft a receiver in the first round this year, and try and get the offense centred more around teddy, AP won't last forever.

I swear to god I'm so sick of hearing how Mike Wallace's speed will 'be a factor' in a game. He caught like one curl route against Sherman in the first quarter and Collinsworth was jizzing his pants talking about how Sherm has to 'respect Wallace's speed' and how he might have a big game. Not sure if he had another catch the whole game. He's shit and they need to cut him.

Reddit is not the answer to all dissenters. I mean I never go but I bet they share the mindset of posters here. Also Seattle struggled too. they are a fluke play (Munnerlyn acted like never saw a running QB before) and Peterson fumble from being shut out.

Wilson had 4 yards more passing than Bridgewater (129-125). The offensive difference in the game was they had 39 more yards rushing than the vikings (97-58).

Please. AP is overrated. I'm a vikings fan btw. He barely led the league in yards and had 40 more carries than anyone else. Not even top 10 in YPC. Obviously you didn't watch any vikings games but I did and didn't really like watching AP get stuffed after a gain of one on the majority of carries

Check downs are good when you're throwing them because the pressure is there or the D is all way downfield. But when you throw as many as Teddy, you're throwing them because you aren't making your downfield reads quickly enough, which is not good. You eventually have to move the ball in chunks.
>>
>>64864600
Maybe reddit is more your speed
>>
>>64869338
Check downs are good basically all the time, you're getting a playmaker the ball in some space and giving him a chance to make a play. There's a reason the Vikes won the division and check downs had a lot to do with it
