My dad was a Dodgers fan his whole life, when I was 6 years old he took me to see the games. I was like 8 when they moved, I couldn't understand why then. When my Dad heard he took his hat off, lowered his head, and sighed. He never watched baseball or took me to any games after that so I lost interest. I moved to metro Detroit for work after the war. The '84 season sparked my interest again. I took my son to see the Tigers and now he takes his son. Unfortunately my dad died when the Y*nkees were the only team, so I put his dodgers cap in the casket with him.
