It's time for the closer of the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship from the home of world darts - the Lakeside! Over the past week, a field of 40 was whittled down to just the two that remain: Yorkshire carpenter Scott "Scotty 2 Hotty" Waites and New Brunswick car repair man Jeff "The Silencer" Smith.
For a tournament where a 90 average has become the new 100 average - with one quarter of the drawing having no players achieve a 90 average until the quarter final - it never really got going until the quarter-finals, but has been largely good since. It's a shame the standard has fallen from previous years, which may suggest the BDO will have to do more to keep their big names from running away to chase Uncle Barry's coin in Phil's Darts Club.
Both Waites and Smith have performed well over the week, both averaging in the 90s, although Scotty's first round and quarter-final scores of 96 and 95 respectively have far exceeded anything the Silencer's produced, with the Canadian's highest average being the 93 he achieved in Round 1 against Martin Adams, putting the Yorkshireman as the firm favourite for tonight. That's not to say Smith is completely out of the match: he's had a great checkout rate and so could punish Waites if the 2013 champion's doubles go missing.
Scotty would join the likes of Ted Hankey, the late Jocky Wilson and a Stokie who loves to be in cahoots with pissed up Scottish women by becoming a two-time World Champion. The Silencer, on the other hand, would become the first Canuck since John Part in 1994 to win the title and the 24th to claim that famous trophy.
The final is the best of 13 sets, so it's the first to seven sets.
Coverage starts from 5:00pm on BT Sport 1 and 5:45pm on BBC Two.

Three years ago, Scott Waites won the World Title 7-1 while not having to average 90 against an opponent who underperformed in the big moment despite putting in great performances in the week. In 2016, it's happened again.
From the moment Scotty hit that 177 setup in the first set to take out 24, the Silencer was completely blown away. A five set deficit was only halted by a stunning 161 out from the Canadian in set 6, but he failed to win another set after blowing 2-0 leads in both of the next two, with a sensational 156 in the penultimate leg being the Yorkshireman's equivalent to Gary Anderson's 170 out last weekend. You have to wonder if this is why Jeff Smith never made much progress in the PDC: combined with his travel issues, he just couldn't seem to turn over a dominant opponent. A sad end for one of the more likeable guys we've seen at Lakeside, but at least he'll be at Wolverhampton for the Grand Slam.
Waites, however, deserved the title. Putting in the performance of the tournament in Round 1 with a 96 average against Willem Mandigers before two amazing consecutive fightbacks against the massive bottlejobs of Geert De Vos and Glen Durrant set him up for a semifinal against Jamie Hughes. Like tonight, his opponent didn't turn up yesterday and got blown away. Do the manner of his Worlds victories discredit them? You could say so, but you can only play what's on the stage. This year, though, he did it in a far better manner than in 2013. Will he switch to the PDC? It's probably more unlikely than ever now.
And that is that for Lakeside 2016. Compared to previous years, this wasn't a good tournament. Only the second time since 1994 has the final had both players averaging under 90, plus with most players averaging between 80 and 90 throughout, it could indicate the start of the end for the BDO with so many of its big names switching in the past few years.
