Mullen is in his 8th year now. He was hardly new in 2013. The fact is that both places are a more attractive destination than Baton Rouge or even Auburn these days. The blocking assignments on the O-line are complicated. A major reason they sucked ass this year was without Shaq Mason calling it out, nobody knew who the fuck to block.
A backs come in not knowing how to block on the perimeter, which gets plays blown up. I legitimately believe that both coaches love their school and job to a fault. Freeze more so than Mullen but Mullen has been very loyal. Plus both teams are the ABSOLUTE biggest thing on campus and play in the division with the most respect and exposure every year. Both are making top 20 salary too.

Both feel like longshots to be good starters. They both need to develop. Goff had some horrendous games (how many picks did he throw against Utah?) and Lynch got demolished by Auburn's defense.
Lynch really seems like he got lucky. He has fantastic physical tools - I mean he's 6'7" and can run. But he's in the G5, playing a meme offense. He looks like an easy bust. He has tons of development to do.
Goff at least was at a power 5 school and played a more NFL looking offense, but I don't see anything special out of him.
If anything, I like Cook. Not accurate enough to be a legit franchise QB, but could turn out competent enough a la all of the other D'antonio guys - Foles, Cousins, Hoyer, Stanton. He moves well and can make plays. I think he has a better chance of turning out okay than the other two. None of them are worth 1st round picks though.
