Hi /sp/, I just thought, we have threads like /epl/ or /bundes/, match threads for numerous la liga or serie A games,
but what with all the minor leagues?
post tables, goals, players to follow, anything worth sharing
all small leagues welcome, let's bring some variety

i'll start with best Ekstraklasa goals so far this season

The Swiss League is shit. Janko is the top scorer in his first season with Basel, and Basel are at the top with a 10 points gap.

Players to watch
>Dabbur. Tricky striker with good ball control. Will most likely be in the Bundesliga/ Serie A by next season. Scored this goal https://youtu.be/LVImanFDLcw
>Embolo. Physical, and already knows how far he's allowed to use his body. Quite a strong understanding of the game for his age too. Will probably be in the PL or Bundesliga next season
>Tarashaj. Everton have apparently triggered his release clause. Creative striker, who can play as a CAM too
>Manuel Akanji. Bought by Basel as a replacement for Schär/ Arlind Ajeti. Pretty strong ballplaying CB
>Edimilson Fernandes. Midfielder with a strong understanding of the game for his age. Is being a bit of a cunt about NTs though
>Albian Ajeti. Doesn't get too much playing time, since he plays in the same position as Janko and Embolo. Almost always contributes to a goal when he does play though. If Embolo leaves next summer expect him to start more often
>Roy Gelmi. Vice vice captain at St Gallen. Got to play as the youngest captain in the league this season. Solid physical CB at 20

Oh, and I guess Tami is a manager to look out for. He's managing Grasshoppers right now, but he probably won't stick around there long, once he realises he doesn't stand a chance against Baselwinslol. Plays attacking football, a bit too attacking when he first started, considering Grasshoppers were the team with both most goals scored and goals conceded. Settled down a bit since then though. Loves playing youth too, because he used to coach the Swiss U21s.

who /USL/ here?
>>
I support a 2nd tier Dutch team. We recently broke the record attendance for a 2nd tier match (17800) but it's not going well. The league itself is a fucking joke with youth teams from Ajax and PSV in it, a couple of semi amateur sides and empty stadiums everywhere. Oh, and you can't relegate to 3rd tier i.e. amateur football. Streams are hard to find and the summaries air past midnight. This is our first season in the 2nd tier since 2000 and I sure hope its our last one for a long time.

NAC Breda, right?

At least you are not RKC Waalwijk, which went from being a midtable Eredivisie (1st tier for non NL posters here) side to a second tier bottom feeder.

RKC is a non club anyway, they got like 5000 seats and cant even fill those in the eredivisie

Jupiler is the best league in the world by far. I never saw a game but I've been beting on it for several years now and looks pretty fun besides Achiles and VVV. Loads of goals at least. What's your team?

>>64690682
NAC Breda. Together with Sparta and Go Ahead Eagles the only teams there that are remotely relevant

simiar, R. Murawski is 21 and a captain of league leaders, Piast Gliwice - they are the biggest suprise, coach (R. Latal) and some players from Czech Republic (Vacek played so well, he got back to NT), and Slovakia

My next-door neighbor plays for GA Eagles these days. And on a kinda funny note, I've met some FC Utrecht (Eredivisie side for non-NL posters again) in a local snackbar here. It wasn't even a decent snackbar either. You just don't see that stuff in England really.

As I said before, no one gives a fuck about the footy anymore. You might aswell be playing in the Zondags amateur league and you will still draw full crowds. The Rat Verlegh stadion is just a huge pub, ban beer there and I guarantee you that you will have less than 5k supporters every home game.

We have 4 professional divisions.
5th is semi-pro/amateur.

Though it's kinda impossible to live only on the wages of a 4th division player, a secondary job is probably needed.

Our league is comedy gold. Triple fixtures in a short summer league means that tempo is very low, but there aren't enough semi-professional clubs to expand it with. There are already a couple of amateur clubs there anyway.

If somebody manages to put together a good squad, it will be dispanded pretty soon as the players move to Turkish 2nd / German 3rd division or something for bigger wages. We fail miserably in Europe against clubs from Estonia, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan etc.

Right now there is one exciting prospect (Kairinen) who Juventus are trying to buy. But the amateur executives have refused to quote a price. He'll be ruined.

Serie B is pretty decent too. The football is very defensive but there's a lot of money there, plenty of foreigners who could easily play first division football in lesser leagues like the Netherlands of Belgium.
>>
>>64692861
We have SerieA, SerieB LegaPro and SerieD who are all pros, but anything above B is pretty shit.
Fun fact: in this year's Coppa Italia, one of the quartes fames will be Spezia-Alessandria, a club from SerieB and one from Lega Pro, who eliminated Roma and Genoa Respectively

I present: The Austrian Bundesliga, home of RB Salzburg's vain attempts to reach the Champion's League, teams with ridiculous sponsor names (looking at you, RZ Pellets WAC), empty stadiums, clubs from villages with less than 10k people in them and generally pretty shit football.

It's your classic educational league, produces a few non-crap players each year that immediately move to Germany, manges to get about one team into the EL, the other ones crash out against Luxemburgian or Icelandic teams in the quali.

>>64689537
Janko is GOAT from an Austrian perspective, he completely tore the league apart in 2008/9, was the most expensive Austrian transfer of all time, wasted his best years in Turkey, bounced back, is an insanely effective goalscorer for the nt and does all of it while playing a role that everyone seems to sneer at.
He's literally perfected the art of making tap-ins.

the team from village inhabited by 750 (seven hundred fifty) people
