Plus stuff like defensive shifts and whatnot. Though the difficulty in scoring makes offensive tactics like baserunning and moving runners over very important as well.

This sport is really fun, we have an intramural league at my school (Finnish baseball we call it). We play it instead of baseball or softball because it's much easier to get a hot whereas in bball or sball we had people go a whole season without even contacting the ball due to pitchers who played in HS.

The game was literally designed as practice for grenade throwing and lunging. This is why pitching is vertical and there are no home runs. It's not supposed to be too entertaining. Good players just have to be fast and sharp.
