>>
>>64533076
For just those three?
>iberia in charge of parity
>>
>>64533088
I'd argue the big three need money to compete in Europe so our League stays/gets relevant/more relevant so the smaller teams can profit from it on the long term. Also, there really isn't any culture of local support here
>>
>>64533088
It's not like there are supporters of the other teams, though.
>>
oh look, portugal will catch up with turkey!

huge news!
>>
>>64533119
>>64533128
Fair enough, I really want more relevant countries in Europe. It's boring with the same old shit every year in the CL semifinals
>>
>>64533734
Portugal is shit
Sporting Benfica and Porto will be on the same level as Atletico madrid/ chelsea/arsenal etc

Imagine Sporting's academy players + Scouted players + lots of money to buy good players

They can get a team that looks like =
(Sporting)

----------------Slimani--Higuain
Carrillo----------------------------------Payet
-------------------AdrienSilva
----------------William Carvalho(C)
Jefferson---------------------------------Dani Alves
----------------Rojo------------P.Oliveira
---------------------Rui Patricio

which is a far better team than arsenal for example.
or
(Porto)

----------------------Higuain-Falcao------
---Brahimi-------------------------------------Corona
------------------------LucasLima
-------------------De Jong--Fernando
Layun-----------------------------------------Maxi
----------------Rudiger--Maicon
--------------------Casillas

>>64534096
afaik Benfica got around 8M€ per year during the SportTV times (meanwhile Benfica created their own TV channel). Now will get 40M€.

>>64534175
It's not like that you dumbfuck. Sporting and Porto include more than just TV rights. See pic
>>
>>64534220
Also Sporting is the only one getting the FULL amount of money.
Benfica and Porto will have to pay huge fees to banks because they were the ones holding the negotiations while sporting negotiated right with the source so Sporting got the best deal by far out of the three.
>>
>>64534087
you were the polar opposite. until ~24 months ago when it all went to shit.

now your clubs have money to spend on populist signings.
>>
>>64534202
but that's almost nothing and won't help them one bit
>>
Great news for the CL and neutral viewers
>>
>>64534275
Won't happen. Casillas is not treated with more respect than Brahimi. Júlio César is not treated with more respect than Renato Sanches.
(And we're talking about GKs, which make sense to be hired with more experience)

It's just a completely different football culture. Nani was a huge deal in Fenerbahçe, he came back to the club that formed him and people were less enthusiastic.

>>64534319
You have no clue about our budgets. 23M€ makes a big difference.
>>
>>64534319

Here is more data. You can squeeze and distort all you want but there's no way Benfica doesn't get - rightfully - a bigger piece than the rivals. The only shady thing is the Emirates deal (that can go up to 30M)
>>
>>64534371
LEL LOOOOL

Sporting and Porto also get money from other sponsors ,why the hell do you only have Benfica's in there?
Also Sporting gets more money than porto you can't even do the maths right....
>>
>Carillo

>Not going to Leicester
>>
>>64534371
yeah, no.

Sporting gets money from Superbock/Macron etc
And benfica doesn't get 10+M from Emirates per year..
They get 8M for 3years. or 2.3M per year.
>>
>>64534452
Carrillo is dumb enough to do so. Im a Porto fan and I fucking hope he comes to porto once his contract ends
imo hes one of the top 3 wingers in the world right now only behind messi and neymar

He should have came in August.
Hopefully, the knowledge that Leicester were vocal about wanting him will help him pick >us.

I think he'll go for the Bosman though, but if >we offer them 6-10m for him, I think he'd want to come, especially after this start.

Touted as Mahrez' replacement for next season.

Won't on the stadium, which is what is on the figure.

>>

Meh idk, Sporting is a much bigger club than leicester. And now that sporting has money I think he'd only leave for somthing like manchester united/AtleticoMadrid/bayern
Lets see how the situation plays out, he hasn't played in months because he didn't want to renew his contract but maybe now sporting will offfer him more money

The plan was for him to leave to Sevilla, which would be appropriate. But playing in the EPL and being given an european place is also more tempting than playing in Sporting.

Depends on his ambition and what Lisbon are willing to do.

I doubt he'd accept a new offer when teams of a high calibre would have him.

I see the difference, Seville or whomever are happy to take him on the free, but Leicester (as far as i'm aware) were the only team willing to spend £10m+ on him, and this was when everyone expected Leicester to be relegation fodder.

With the almost expected Top 6 finish for Leicester, I can see Carollo wanting that.
He won't get starts for Bayern, Manchester, or any of the top top clubs, so Leicester would be a great transition.

I hope, really like him.

How's your fight for 3rd place with braga going my benfica friend?
>>
>>64534339
I think you're taking your 'leveled' views on these players and applying to everyone.

The fact that these top teams harbor players past their peak for their peak status is telling for me.
It's fine for Nani, he's Portuguese and raised at Sporting, but not for the others.

Salary caps and the national FA handling all the TV deals/money and giving the weaker clubs more money when?
>>
>>64542990
Never. It was setup to be in 2018, but Benfica had to get their deal. Porto and Sporting went along with the hype and got their money too, so if there's someone to blame is Benfica from quiting the idea the president of the League had for the portuguese tv deals.

>>
>>64543291
I'm not saying it isn't the best for your team or even mine. I'm just saying the idea Proença had for the League and the help the league to be a bit more competitive (if smaller teams get more money, they can get better players, thus making the league more competitive, attracting more investiment from foreigners) was good and every single team was up for it. Y'all ruined it with your deal. I'm okay with it, cause Porto got a good deal too.
>>
>>64543452
The League wouldn't attract more foreign investment by being leveled down. The big clubs being competitive in Europe will actually help more the smaller clubs imo.
