Draymond is a fat undersized forward. Randle is a fat undersized forward with no jumper and awful defense.
Randle has been one of the few bright spots on the team (he's still basically a rookie, as he had to spend most of the year/offseason rehabbing), Russell is getting better, Nance has been a wonderful surprise, and Clarkson is one of the more creative scorers in the NBA. And while some of their rotation guys aren't flawless, they aren't really bad either.
Kobe and Byron Scott are the problems of this team. Kobe airballs them out of games, and Byron is such a dipshit that he benches Russell and Randle so that Kobe doesn't have to share the ball with anyone besides Clarkson (the only other established player on the Lakers). Scott is a terrible coach but having to deal with the Kobe Farewell circus is something that even a good coach would have trouble with. But with someone as inept as Scott at the helm, it all but guarantees their failure.
They're loaded with talent, and with the money from Hibbert/Kobe coming off the books next year, the Lakers are going to pull in at least one huge free agent signing.

Not to mention the fact that Draymond has a jumper, is an excellent passer, an excellent playmaker, and isn't that athletic.
Randle is a good rebounder, has decent handles for a 4, is far from undersized at an athletic 6'9, 250 and is a good inside scorer. He's basically rookie year Amare. Once he gets a jumper (something he wasn't able to do last year since he was rehabbing a broken leg), his scoring will improve dramatically.

Julius Randle has a horridly small wingspan and his elevated rebound stats come from him being fast enough to rebound his own wild bricks. He does have decent handles, except he has pretty much one move: Iso at the 3pt line, shimmy, drive to the hole and either spin left or try to out jump the defender and try to get his t-rex arms high enough to put a floater into the basket. Most defenders have it figured out by the 3rd quarter. He's extremely athletic and fast for his size, but it means nothing if he can't get a decent jumper, otherwise forwards will basically camp in the paint and wait to block his shots because they have longer wingspans than him.
