Let us discuss who are the 10 best receivers in the league right now. Here's my list

>Antonio Brown
>Odell Beckham jr
>Julio Jones
>DeAndre Hopkins
>AJ Green
>Brandon Marshall
>Larry Fitzgerald
>Dez Bryant/Calvin Johnson (both players have been inconsistent/injured but get here based on reputation)
>Allen brothers from Jax (both of them because they are so young and keep getting better)
>Doug Baldwin
>>
>>64401571
>megatron here on reputation
>down season with nagging injuries and shotty o line preventing long throws
>still reaches 1000 yards recieving

He's still GOAT
>>
>>64401577
yeah but in my opinion Tate (despite not having the yards) has easily outplayed Johnson throughout this season
>>
>>64401577
>goat
>zero (0) post season accomplishments
heh
>>
In no particular order except the top 3. Imagine a franchise QB throwing to Hopkins.
>Antonio Brown
>Julio Jones
>DeAndre Hopkins
>Odell Beckham Jr
>AJ Green
>Brandon Marshall
>Larry Fitzgerald
>Calvin Johnson
>Allen Robinson
>Dez Bryant
Props to Michael Floyd is playing like a fucking God lately, by the way. Same holds true for Baldwin.
>>
Does Beckham lose points for being a thug and costing his team foolish penalty yards?
>>
>>64401698
Depends, does dez cryant lose points for being a tantrum throwing crybabby bitch?
>>
Keenan Allen would be a top 5 receiver this year if he didn't die
>>
>>64401721
Yeah, I'd say so, to the extent it does anything to hurt his team.

No matter where you are from or what team you love, I think we can all agree Antonio Brown is #1 right now
>>
>>64401698
Yes.
He is still a top 10 talent.

>>64401738
This might have happened. Definitely top 10.

>>64401571

josh norman mind fucked him harder than i fucked your mom last night

norman has shut his punk ass down for 3 straight games now

>dez bryant
he now calls josh norman mr. norman

>rest
i don't know who the rest of these scrubs are
>>
>>64401787
Nice try norman
>>
>>64401571
>>Larry Fitzgerald
heh, people sure like to cling to the past

next you're going to tell me that Peyton Manning is a top 10 QB, and Frank Gore is top 10 RB
>>
>>64401787
are you some kind of overhyped panthers n norman fanboy?
>>
>>64401602
could that be because he's spent his years playing for the lions?
>>
>>64401800
Not going to say PM and FG are top 10, but Larry is. He finally has a QB and having the best season since Warner retired
>>
>>64401800
>Third in catches (99 in 133 targets), eight in yards (+1,100), sixth in first down conversions and 7 TDs.
Please stop.
>>
>>64401738
Do you think he is a rivers babby?
>>
>>64401571

>no julian edelman

thats the only one youre missing, good list tho
>>
>>64401919
thanks man, looking back probably should've put him there instead of Baldwin
>>
>>64401873
His block options have been on point too
>>
>>64401738
How can you put Keenan Allen before Antonio Gates. Gates might need Rivers to do much of anything, but the magic they work is stellar
>>
You might argue that Brown is a Roethlisberger-babby, but I think it's mainly Ben has developed such a blind trust of Brown.

"Is that Wheaton wide open over there? This is a great opportunity to pump-fake in his direction then throw to Brown who's covered by a corner, linebacker, and safety!"
>>
>>64401981
lol that's pretty accurate but I think they both need the other to succeed, like Wheaton and Bryant can only run 2 routes, but Brown can do it all and when Rothburger went down I thought Brown got the maximum out of Landry Jones (Mike Vick was shit tho can't blame Brown for struggling then) + Rothburger has become a more efficient QB thanks to Brown and Brown is like what Hines Ward once was but not so chubby and has the athletic ability of one Santonio Holmes
>>
>>64401690

Gonna throw this one in there but Sammy Watkins has been reeling in some amazingly difficult throws. Not saying he's as good as maybe Brown or OBJ but i think he deserves some recognition.
>>
>>64402096
I think he needs a second year in Greg Roman's offense with Tyrod Taylor, probably going to be a beast next year

Weak bait.

>>64401919
I wouldn't take Edelman over any of the 10 I listed. Not even that close, if you ask me.

>>64402096
You got that right. Missed Watkins.
>>
If Hopkins had a real QB throwing him the ball he'd be the best receiver in the league, mark my words.
>>
>>64402127
injured, next year will probably be on this list
>>
Doug Baldwin is literally playing as good or better than Jerry Rice in his prime. Has to be DB89
>>
>>64402128
Why no love for Edelman?
>>
If Doug is on there Ginn has to be
>>
>>64402182
Let's see if this lasts, don't jump on the bandwagon too early.

>>64402183
He benefits a lot from having Tom Brady throwing him the ball, and having Gronk drawing coverages.
>>
>>64401787
julio had 88 yards on him, when other recievers barely managed 50. Beckham got 60 odd yards and a TD on him, filthy bandwagoning scum
>>
>>64402128

well you clearly don't know shit about football then
>>
>>64402183
>Antonio Brown
>Julio Jones

>Calvin Johnson
>Allen Robinson
>Dez Bryant
Who would you replace with Edelman?

what happened?
>>
>>64402202
Ginn has a shitload of drops.

>>64402223
Jones had most of his yards against other corner.

>>64402242
Elaborate.
>>
>>64402243

Dez bryant has been a fucking bum this year, doesnt deserve to be anywhere near the list.
>>
>>64402243

dez

but honestly look at his 2015 gamelog, he was putting up top 5 numbers
>>
>>64402264
It's almost like Dez had someone like Brandon Weeden throwing him the ball.
>>

>Baldwin
>But Demaryious Thomas in the same group as Dez and CJ
>Baldwin
Sanders,Tate and Cobb are all better than
>Baldwin
>>
>>64402284

So he's a QB babby then?
>>
>>64401571
Are you forgetting Jordy Nelson?
>>
>>64402328
And a broken foot that won't be 100% til the off-season.
>>
>>64401577
Same could be said about Demaryius Thomas
>>64401599 and its funny, cause the same could be said about Sanders.
>>
>>64402339

>right now

It's not like Doug Baldwin has a long body of work or anything, these guys are just on
>>
>>64402264
Let's say I take Dez out, because he sucks dick without Romo. Jordy Nelson would be in.

>>64402276
Edelman benefits a lot from Gronk taking double teams, the pats not running the ball... at all and Tom fucking Brady throwing to him.
Get Edelman in a #1 role, and I have doubts on whether he would be effective or not.

Remember, a #1 guy is usually the threat to gameplay against... Edelman isn't that in New England.

>>64402328
I would say that he is a system babby more than a QB. The offense is tailored for Romo, that's why Cassel and Weeden played that shitty. Cassel did much better with Vikings and Weeden already has a comeback win in Houston.
>>
Throwing this out there but Martavis Bryant has been really good too.

Hurns is also a top receiver Jags are actually pretty sick if you look at all the targets they have.
>>
>>64402327
I took OP as meaning performance for the year, in which Baldwin has done better than all of those

>Baldwin
TDs: 13
YDs: 905

>Thomas
TDs: 5
YDs: 1128

Sanders:
TDs: 5
YDs: 969

>Tate
TDs: 6
YDs: 720

>Cobb
TDs: 6
YDs: 777
>>
THIS IS OBJECTIVELY 100% TRUE AND ONLY A PLEB WOULD DISAGREE

1. Julio Jones
>the most dominant WR in the NFL in every respect, there is no weakness to his game, basically a better version of Michael Irvin
2. Antonio Brown
>his weakness is physical corners, but he's the quickest, most agile player in the NFL and he just gets open

---big dropoff---

3. AJ Green
>best body control of any WR in the NFL, despite nagging injuries he's always a top flight WR
4. DeAndre Hopkins
>now consistently one of the best WRs in the NFL while having literally who QBs his entire career
5. Odell Beckham Jr.
>slightly overrated because of muh highlights, ODB is still one of the top 3 deep threats in the NFL
6. Calvin Johnson
>still so physically dominant that if the Lions went back to their pitch and catch days, he might be #1 again
7. Dez Bryant
>disappointing season, but not to his fault, he is still one of the few dominant WRs in the NFL right now

---big dropoff--

8. Larry Fitzgerald
>basically a slot babby and a scheme babby these days, still has maybe the best hands in the NFL
9. Brandon Marshall
>it's nice to see him play so well without his gay lover Jay Cutler
10. Allan Robinson
>Hurns is good but a bit overrated, without Robinson out there Bortles would be bust status and Hurns would be unknown
>>
>>64402583

Antonio Brown is flat out the best receiver.

Also, what about Mike Evans?
>>
>>64402583

You have to go on this seasons performance
>>
>>64402723
Drops way too many balls, it's like he and Ted Ginn swapped hands, but I hope he improves and comes out better next year
>>
> No TY
> No Moncrief
> No SS.sr
> No Bryant
>>
>no edelman

OK chumps
>>
>>64402243
From that list it's hard to replace Edelman with anyone, maybe Robinson since he's a young guy who can still improve
>>
>>64402750

He's just still pretty raw and young. Still, only Julio Jones has had more 150+ yd games since he's come into the league though and he's like an offseason of catching drills and chemistry with Winston away from dropping 200 yds on teams.
>>
>>64402765
>Ty is a guy who plays half the season extremely well, has games like 8/153/1 and rest of the half a season he's a 3/28/0 guy
>Montcrief lol are you a biased Colts fan
>Old man I have a lot of respect for but he's probably done with his career
>Martevious Bryant? The guy who only runs screens or deep posts, that's all he can do, but he does them well
>>
>1. Antonio Brown
>2. Julio Jones
>3. Calvin Johnson
>4. Odell Beckham Jr.
>5. DeAndre Hopkins
>6. Larry Fitzgerald
>7. Dez Bryant
>8. A.J. Green
>9. Brandon Marshall
>10. Jordy Nelson
>11. Allen Brothers (couldn't leave them out)

Based on who I would pick at the beginning of next year, not only based on their numbers this year.
>>
>>64402816
lets hope so, Tampa has looked better than expected imo, but Evans has been a bit of a disappointment, but next year he and the team will probably be contending for the wild card spot

In order (disregarding health):

>Antonio Brown
>Julio Jones
>DeAndre Hopkins
>Odell Beckham
>Jordy Nelson
>Dez Bryant
>AJ Green
>Allen Robinson
>Demaryius Thomas
>Keenan Allen
>>
>Aj Green
>Antonio Brown
>Calvin Johnson (when healthy)
>Sammy Watkins (just needs a QB)
>Julio Jones
>Larry Fitzgerald
>Beckham Jr
>DeAndre Hopkins
>Demaryius Thomas (still has all the physical tools/skills, even if hes not record breaking this season)
>Dez Bryant

honorable mentions: Amari Cooper

Pretty sure Allen Hurns had a 100 yard, 2 TD performance in one of his only games without Robinson on the field. The reason he's good is because he's really good at everything
>>
>>64402850
good list

Is there a better blocking receiver than Fitzgerald?

Last digit is how many Super Bowls Blake Bortles and the NFL's youngest 1,000 yard receiving duo win before they retire together

5. Brandon Marshall
6. Deandre Hopkins
7. AJ Green
8. Jarvis Landry

10. Steve Smith Sr before he got injured
