I know it's only the 2nd quarter but we did it. Get it here
JUST
Surprised we actually did desu.
Why did our offense shut down in the second half?
Made me a little nervous right at the end, but they did it.
>>64396631
Because it's the lions. Still, I'm surprised we won after Prater missed the field goal, maybe god doesn't hate us after all
>>64394280
>won a meaningless game, effectively just moving down in the draft
Yay.
>>64396651
No, he just took a sec to use the shitter and we caught him off guard
>>64396701
We choked but then someone gave us the Heimlich Manouver
>>64396744
Who would do that?
>>64396777
Sean Payton with those terrible plays in the last 9 seconds
>>64396805
Maybe he's preparing for coaching the Lions next season, being able to choke at critical times is important for Detroit
>>64396805
What a saint of a person
>>64396631
Playing not to lose instead of playing to win.
>>64396805
he will be the lions new GM
>>64396827
I guess that makes sense if you can't make the playoffs and just want to minimize injuries, but still I want a team that puts its boot on the other teams throat and keeps pressing even until after their dead, like the iggles game
>>64396855
Injuries literally don't matter when you're out of the playoffs and there's only one game in the regular season left. You had it right, the Lions just should have kept their foot on the peddle. So instead of winning through a blowout, they get a close win that didn't even have to happen and was only won because of fuckups on Brees and Sean Peyton's part
The lions did their best to lose, but in the end they managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
>>64396892
I wouldn't say that injuries don't matter, a torn acl can completely fuck up your career, and even once you come back you might not ever be the same, and it will be prone to getting torn again
>>64396829
Our new Head Coach you mean, we already have a new GM and I'd prefer to keep him since he's a businessman who's smart enough to hire someone to consult on football matters while handles the business side
>>64396920
Thats our president lol. I like our president too but we dont have a new GM yet and keeping our intern GM Sheldon White would be a huge mistake.
What's up with megatron? 1 catch? Is he not getting open or does the offensive line suck so bad that Stagford can only hit intermediate / short routes?
>>64397015
let me guess you play fantasy you fucking faggot
>>64397015
O line is abysmal
>>64397015
He's banged up. Hes been questionable now for like 5 weeks in a row. Even with all the injuries though he still has 1000. A big part of it too though is the Oline not giving enough time for routes to develop.
>>64397000
this guy gets it
>>64397015
He's still nursing an ankle injury, still, he had a key catch at the beginning of the game.
>>64397048
Are there any good o lineman coming in the draft
>>64396920
dumb ass
>>64397000
My mistake then, I honestly thought it was the GM who was the ex-Ford exec. Still, I'd rather have Payton as a HC than a GM. Caldwell has to go, but the pickings are slim right now unless we offer the job to Austin.
>>64397089
Actually pretty deep in tackle which is exactly what we need. Saw our RT blow a shot load of assignments today. Get a good LT and move Rieff to RT and the Oline could be decent next season. Still very young.
>>64396911
but its still a lose
there go's our draft pick
SOL
>>64397089
Our o-line is already filled with rookies, we should be looking for experienced linemen in free agency, not in the draft.
>>64397089
Laremy Tunsil
>>64397133
Id prefer this as well but I dont think there are that many decent tackles entering FA this year.
>>64397109
If Payton is GM he would keep Caldwell
>>64397159
My liver wants off that ride
What are the chances we offer teryl Austin an hc job?
>>64397190
Slim Im guessing. He just became a DC I feel like theyd go after someone with a little more experience. Thatd be interesting. Im kinda hoping we somehow keep him at DC
>>64397129
Yes, a top 5 draft pick will turn this franchise around.
Oh wait...
>>64397250
What are the chances Jim Bob stays as OC?
>>64397579
Our draft picks have been pretty decent lately
>>64397579
SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS MEME2ME AM I JUST OVERTHINKING IT?
>>64398152
> Joey Harrington
> Charles Rogers
> Roy Williams
> Kevin Jones
> Mike Williams
> Ernie Sims
That was 5 straight years of first round picks.
