That was a bad match up in scheme decided by the DC. Beasley is agile and quick and the scheme is to give the inside and intermediate routes that dare them to get YACs instead of give up the long play. A real slot corner is a better match up, and when Biggers covered Beasley instead of Jenkins, Beasley was much less effective.
Jenkins was also playing injured and concussed. He did better match up against Witten.

I think the routes and the protection is just dictating that Matt only throw it to Julio or no one. Matt always seemed to play well when he spread the ball around, even when his o-line was worse, he was good at making quick decisions as far as where to go with the ball. It seems like just another facet of his game that Shanahan hasn't tried to adapt to and has instead tried to force more passes to Julio.
There's a chance Kyle humbles himself after his opportunities in the nfl dry up. But they might never I guess.

The Alabama O-line is several deviations above normal in the NCAA. NFL lines that dominate like that are few and far between... Alexander's Tobeck/Hutch/Jones line (and Mack Strong as you mentioned) would be an example
