I don't have a team preference (cause /rug/ more popular than /NFL/ in NZ), but I watch the games a little, and understand the game enough, so who do I watch and support?

Also, the NFL hates the New England Patriots because it's a small-market team that's built a dynasty; the entire population of New England can be fit into the New York metropolitan area. Also, they're so good they fuck with the NFL's "parity" hook, hence the further hatred.
Also, they've got an organizational philosophy that puts the team ahead of the individual and promotes discipline, and that's what gets them wins more than anything else. Most of the rest of the NFL's rankled with dysfunction aside from a handful of elite teams that use a similar philosophy. Funnily enough, when shitty teams take a similar approach, they start performing much better; look at the Jets, for example.
