We did a little bit in the World Cup.
Actually played well and got to the semis, I was really getting into supporting the team.
Then we conceded that fucking own goal and I was instantly reminded I was watching womens football and how shit it is.

i honestly don't even mind women's sports being broadcast, it's just the insufferable agenda surrounding women's football that makes it hard to tolerate. it's forced down your throat so hard you'd dislike it just for that.
also it seems those who follow the football team expect them to win the wc every time because obviously no one follows the sport outside the big international tournaments and they have won it twice so people think they are going to win it every time.

I follow the fortunes of Arsenal Ladies, simply because I support the actual Arsenal. It helps the women's team is pretty great domestically.
