MSU is basically LSU Light. Since 2008 the only team to beat Bama with a pro-style, run-heavy offense was LSU themselves and MSU isn't close to them in talent or anything else (In those years, not 2015 LSU). This game will look a lot like Bama's games this year against Wisconsin or LSU.
The Tide have weaknesses in the secondary but MSU won't be able to exploit them. Especially considering Bama's front 7 and their ability to shut down a good rushing game without putting 8 or 9 in the box. Thing is OU is going to SHRED Clemsons defense. If we can hold Watson under 300 total yards (which about half the teams he played were able to do) we are going to crush that team. Their offense relies entirely on creating imbalances in the field and they are not going to be able to do that with us because our secondary is too good and our D line can put pressure on the QB only rushing 4 guys. We are going to run and throw all over them.
Beating Bamas offense wont be too hard but we are going to be almost totally dependent on Mayfield to win
