On the other hand, many times a player can be awarded with an assist even if he did nothing out of the ordinary, which is the case shown in the pic I uploaded. Passing the ball 2-3m back and having a team mate score a long shot and giving a 30 yard pass are both considered assists, but there's a great difference between them. Ronaldo is by no means a creative player, not anymore anyways.
