I don't think he really has much of one. I would say your top female athletes are funneled into tennis at a very high clip, since it is one of the very few financially viable female sports. Female sports participation is of course lower than mens, but Tennis grabs such a huge share that the difference becomes negligible. You could even argue that men's tennis is less competitive than women's tennis, because there are so many sports that come before it when it comes to economic opportunities for athletes.
