Because the Samueli's like him. He got the best GM award just 2 years ago (somehow) and he drafts relatively well. The problem is his trades, and the people he lets walk. While I think the Palm Trees trade will haunt him the most in the long run, letting Beauch walk and getting Bieksa as a replacement was probably one of the worst things he's done in a while.

They had one, last year was their year, and they blew it. I really don't think they have a chance with the team they have now, as they don't know what to do. They can't play the cycle like they did last year because they don't use the big bodies they had before, but they can't use a speed/skill game like the Hawks because they half-assed the trades and only got "Stone Hands" Hagelin in return.
I think Getz/Perry's chance to win as the head of this team are over, and there's no way Murray will get fired before the end of next season.
