I agree that Brady's a better choice for MVP, but I don't get the stats obsession. Brady has a bunch of intangibles that's kept his team competitve in every game, even their losses, in spite of having a depleted roster and a sieve for an O line. Newton's an athletic freak, and he's used that athleticism to keep his team undefeated, but he has yet to really face a stout challenge, aside from what an anemic Saints team threw at the Panthers.
Brady has lost two games and now he's suddenly the worst QB in the NFL because the hate machine is too strong.

The real argument is between Palmer and Brady. I'm a patriots fan, but I do give the edge to Palmer currently. His y/a is significantly better. I know Brady has been working with bad line play and recently few targets, but the award isn't about what could be. It's about what is. We'll see though. With gronk hopefully coming back in the next couple weeks Brady is definitely still has a decent chance to win it.

I'm a huge patriots fan and I give it to Cam. When you consider that his team consists mostly of scrubs, then yes he deserves the MVP this year. If Brady was putting up great numbers and winning games with Harper and LaDrop and White all season without any help from Gronk or Edelman or Lewis then yes, it's undisputed. With no offensive weapons, Brady is struggling. Playing well but right now it's incomplete passes and picks. Not his fault entirely but I mean.. come on.
