Alright, in all seriousness, who's your pick for winning the Super Bowl this year?

>Pats, Panthers, or Broncos
lol
>>
Pants
>>
Why does she not have a upper body?
>>
Bengals
>>
Patriots
>>
CONTENDERS:
1. Cardinals
2. Healthy Patriots
3. Broncos
4. Panthers
5. Current Patriots (rip their roster)

CONTENDER IF THEY WIN A PLAYOFF GAME:
6. Bengals

OUTSIDE SHOT:
7. Steelers
8. Vikings
9. Packers
10. Chiefs

WILL REQUIRE VOODOO MAGIC BUT YOU CAN NEVER COUNT THEM OUT:
11. Giants
12. Colts

Nobody else has a shot, and I only put the Giants and colts on there because they're so historically erratic. So really it's the top ten and nobody else
>>
My heart's telling me Cards, my brain's telling me Bill's performing his black magic under Gillette Stadium as we speak.
>>
I think Pats are still the favorite once they get Gronk back. Broncos and Panthers can both hang around with anybody, so I'd say they both have a shot. I think the Cardinals are overrated, and as for the Bengals winning in the playoffs, I'll believe it when I see it. Packers and the Steelers are the only other teams that are possibilities. Toughest part for the Steelers is just getting to the playoffs. Packers aren't any good right now, but if they get their shit together they've got the talent to compete.

If they get to the Bowl, and it's against a healthy Patriots, do who wins? Will Cam shit in bed?

the seahawks of course

I want to see the Pats go against the Xehawks in round two, that or against the Panthers. Hell, anyone but the Packers from the NFC is fine with me.

>Hell, anyone but the Packers from the NFC is fine with me
I really want to see the Packers go to the owl just to see /sp/'s collective butthurt. Preferably against a team that "deserves" it so /sp/ can cry about "our year" when they lose.
>>
Uhhh...the Cowboys?

Pats v. Panthers rematch, with about as much defense played. The victor is a pick 'em.

The Seahawks have a hard road ahead if they somehow sneak into the playoffs. As it stands, they'd have to go head to head with the Packers in Lambeau for the wildcard, and they didn't do so hot last time they were there.

For Seattle to NOT make the playoffs they would have to lose 2 of their remaining 4 AND the buccs would need to win out.

Seattle is making the playoffs.
>>
>>64148017
Gronk was not within the realm of catching the ball in the game you're speaking of.

Read the rule book.
It was a good non-call.
>>
>>64147997

I'm not too worried about playing away in the second match
>>
The prophecy for the owl was set yesterday.

NFCCG is Seahawks @ Giants.
AFCCG is Steelers @ Patriots.
SB50 is Seattle vs New England.

Brady is sacked out of the game and the Seahawks proceed to repededly int Jimmy G for the biggest blowout in Owl history.
>>
>>64148058
He was being held in the endzone by Keuchly preventing him making a play on the ball. And he would have been able to catch the ball had his arms not been held back

>Who can beat them in the NFC?

Maybe Arizona. Cards have better receivers, but Newton is better than Palmer by a mile and Greg Olsen is the best TE in football not named Gronkowski
>>
Arizona to vanquish their NFCW rival Seahawks and blow Denver the fuck out in the bowl, History repeating.
>>
We'll see this weekend, but I honestly think the Packers will turn it around, Rodgers to Rodgers is looking better and better every week, Adams might actually get some confidence with his FIRST (jesus) touchdown catch last week. Assuming the offensive line gets healthy, I'd watch out

>Cardinals
>#1 contender
>barely beating the vikings, didn't go to OT because of one of the most retarded playcalls in the history of football

The seahawks defense is really starting to play well. They also tend to get better in the playoffs, at least recently
>>
>>64154329
let me correct myself
>beating the vikings with 4 (four) defensive starters dead, including their best DB, LB, and DL
>heating up
>>
>>64151205
Why does everyone have so much faith in the Cardinals? They barely beat the Vikings at home the week after their rival blew them the fuck out, The Ravens almost took them into overtime, they played a close game against the 49ers, and they lost to the Steeler's 3rd string quarterback.

A Chiefs/Packers owl would be the football equivalent of that handicapped girl from your high school wrestling that handicapped girl from your cousin's high school. Who exactly enjoys watching that matchup?
>>
>>64156087
I thought luck wasn't entirely dead for the rest of the season?
>>
>>64156625
He's expected to be back Week 15, but honestly I think it'll be too late by then. DESU I don't think Luck is elite enough yet to be an owl winning QB, but at the very least I think it's probably the LONGEST shot out of all of the teams in the hunt right now. Too much up in the air right now for that team to be consistent enough to win the owl this year imo
>>
pats are falling apart so im going denver/carolina
>>
>>64154372
What does that have to do with the defense holding Adrian Peterson to no TDs and 18 yards rushing?
>>
Any answer to this question other than the Panthers or healthy Pats is unacceptable. Pats have the best qb, coach and offensive weapon(if Gronk is healthy) in the NFL and Panthers are the best all around team in the NFL despite what everyone on /sp believes. You don't luck into 12-0 and they have beaten more current playoff teams and teams .500 or better than any other team in the league.
>>
>>64146391
>No iggles
That's right. Keep doubting us everyone. Just like last week...

Cards are a way better all around team than Panthers
>>

Lions vs Panthers, lions win obviously
>>
>>64148251
If you're 6'8 and complain about not being able to catch shit over linebackers and less than 6ft tall defensive backs, you should get your legs sawed off. Cant even use his one positive attribute: size. Seriously pisses me off when gronk calls for flags when hes so much bigger than others and pushes off af LOS.
>>
>>64157016
When already down 14-0 it doesn't make much sense to run the ball a lot. You need to get some big plays which passing makes much more likely.
>>
>>64157016
The Green Bay packers defense held him to 45
He's overrated and the seacocks won't do anything in the playoffs
Enjoy another 5 years of mediocrity shit lord

>revenge for a regular season game

>>
>>64148058
The ball was in front on him at his level. It hadn't even got to him yet before his arms were wrapped up and it was intercepted in front of him. The PI was incredibly obvious and was flagged immediately. The head ref then picked up the other refs flag (which is illegal) and said there wasn't a penalty.
>>
>>64154461
>bringing up their worst performances

You could mention how they blew out the Lions the week after the Seahawks barely beat the Lions. Or that they beat the Bengals. Or that the only reason the game was remotely close against the Seahawks was Carson fucked up and fumbled the ball twice for two easy Seahawks TDs, and the Cards still won definitively.

Naw let's just judge them by their worst loss, and we can pretend the Seahawks are GOAT because they had one great game against a 1-dimensional Vikings team that only gave the ball to AP 8 times.

>Mfw people think the Patriots aren't purposely holding back their run game until the playoffs.
>>
>>64163353

Gronk gets more BS flags called AGAINST him then anyone dude. Did you see that "push-off in the Broncos game. Absolute joke of a call. He's just big and when guys stand in his running lane he moves them. Also please go watch that play again. Kind of hard to mvoe through a man who weighs nearly as much as you while he bear hugs you to the back of the endzone. But i'm sure that's not even defensive holding to you and what Chung did on SNF was.
>>
>>64165311
Beli has a lot of shit up his sleeve. He won't show anything till the AFC game and owl.

Still dunno why they used the Amendola-Brady pass in a regular season game. Waste of a trick play later in the season
