Unfortunately I don't have statistics and I can't be arsed to do any research, but I talked to professionals from all over the world. Actual martial artists and boxers, and people way more experienced than what you'll find on 4chan, and they all say the same thing. MMA is shit. There are some good fighters, just like there are some good crossfitters, but all in all it's crap.

The thing is, a specialist fighter is going to have significant weaknesses. An MMA fighter will be good at most things (hopefully), but great at nothing. If the specialist can force the MMA fighter to fight into their strength, they'll beat the shit out of them. Of course, the MMA fighter wants to do the exact opposite, and if someone like a boxer gets taken to the ground they're screwed.
Of course martial artists and boxers will say MMA is shit, because they all believe their discipline is the best. With no training MMA training, they'd get their asses beat. However, the very best, with a bit of training, would have a chance.
